That'd be "Angry Ex-wife." I'm Mel Karnofsky, Angry Ex-wife of Niles. I'm loathe to reveal this, but if we're mass claiming, then may as well. I'm a bomb, night kills only. Apparently I'm angry enough that if someone tries to ruin my life, I make sure to ruin theirs in return.

This also means that, according to the story, I totally slept with FredofErik on night 1. I'm still recovering from the idea of that.

I got ANGRY WIFE, but that's pretty close.

I'm looking for three to four anti-town total.

With the one-shot recruiter revealed, I'm thinking one mafia group. The only question is if there's a SK too or if the mafia had more kills to use at the start of the game. Maybe with 2 kills usable until there was a certain amount of players alive. Another idea is that the mafia had a member with a x-shot kill ability. They then used them early to guarantee that they'd be able to use them and to throw off the town with how many killers were in the game.

The reason for my lie was because of my experience last game, I had a role that is traditionally anti-town and I didn't expect the rest of the town to believe me (hence I made up the bit about not affecting town).

Anyway I don't expect any of you to believe me, I probably wouldn't if I was in your shoes but I wanted to explain my reasoning.

The irony is that it would be easier for me to believe if you had just not included that. Now I wonder if you could be recruited and still retain the use of your ability. I think cult type recruiting usually strips abilities but this is a little different..

pharphis' post #1197 still troubles me. pharphis may change his mind, but the other two simply hop on board the train much like "team mates." I'm not insinuating, but I do still have small portions of my drug-riddled, alcohol softened brain useable for thinking.

Are you suggesting I should have lied about my role? That's not very smart.

I think it was crafted so that you have a reason to not be NKed up until the very end (for the town to hear) and also a reason for the town not to lynch you (so you can use this ability).

Can you explain why it wouldn't be a good idea to lie about this in some way?

(On top of that, you're much too hard to get a read on in general, and past experience tells me you would have been killed off by now by the mafia to increase their chances of winning)

I'm curious how the "lie detector" part of his role worked. I'm guessing he knew something considering the ones he voted.

If were going to look at voting records then why not look at Malevolent's voting record, on his last day he voted for me too. So I've had both scum and town vote for me. Not exactly definative.

Vote 1 on Pyro, Vote 2 on Jcakes? I could get behind that. So long as Jcakes goes today, I don't care how.

Your apathy concerns me and if I learned anything from my first game an apathetic player is a scummy player.

The fifth night I attempted to investigate Pyrotechnician but again it was just PM received. How many roleblockers are in this game?

Hmm.. so Jcakes is actually claiming a block on me. I don't expect any anti-town blocker would come forward to say they also blocked me last night, but is there any other Pro-town blocker who did? I've really been thinking all main cast from Cheers and Fraiser are going to be Pro-town and I haven't seen anything to the contrary yet.

To those who know CG, does this seem like something he would just throw out there? Seems like an incredible waste and an actual misdirection so we don't lynch him.

No, it does not seem like something he would do. As an experienced player he knows that if there is one role you lie about being its the bomb, even claiming vanilla townie would be better as it still lets you have the "ability" to use your power. Then again though it would explain why he was so extremly confident that OMG did not have a bomb ability when he was being lynched.

As stated above, an experienced player would have lied about that role, and I think I would consider you an experienced player.

I like the idea of an investigation result being the use of vote 2 as that would allow for continuing scum hunting throughout the day phase of the guilty result. Scum hunting seems to abruptly stop once we have a lock. Now however, this is extremely dependent on having a guilty result to go on in the first place and would allow scum to hide in the lynch train for that person since anyone reluctant to join the lynch probably has alternative motives. I.E. not town.

Obvious, but not too obvious. My ability is that I can choose to spike one drink each night and can choose from 5 types of alcohol. Don't ask me what this does because I have absolutely no clue, I have been trying to figure it out all game and haven't seen a noticable difference by choosing a different one each night.

So according to pancakeman, there are likely 2 sets of mafia. For the past 3 nights, there has only been one kill. We have killed 3 anti-town, so maybe we finished off one team? Leaving a second team with 3 or 4 people is still alive?

So what exactly is your role? Are you a third jailkeeper? A roleblocker? I would have had a much better chance of believing you if you had not thrown a self vote on the end of it.

Not another bomb threat. Why does it always come down to these? Anyways, in my opinion, the best use of the bomb is to take out a mafia trying to night kill people - can you give any evidence you have been trying to do that? Or have you just been trying to stay alive?

So do you think pancake was wrong, and there is not actually a second mafia group? Sam's eavesdropping proved true once, I don't see why the 2 mafia groups would be less likely to be true.

Almost as odd as your Holy Wards, not quite. I measure it to be as odd as Jcakes toilet situation, but I have yet to see an effect of my actions. Maybe I'm not looking close enough but I'm not sure.

I believe you that you are Martin Crane and your ability. I don't believe that you are pro town though.

Your ability looks like a counterweight to the one we masons have. We can spike a drink every night with our selected drink (I f.ex. spike with gin). We haven't found out what it does either, so good to hear you ain't got a clue.

Its starting to come together now...I have a feeling that a distinct combination has to happen in order for something to take place. I can choose to spike the Gin, Tequila, Beer, White Wine, or Scotch. I bet if you then spike your drink with the same thing I chose to spike then it would do something.
