You're assuming I trade, play PvP or online; I do none of these.

As for the PvM, solo, melee build I might stick it on... that's a different story.

Your ring is absolutely worth using if you have nothing better. I just gamble/craft a lot of stuff, and whether or not you consider it for pvp and what not, it's actually not that rare of a ring to generate - you'll eventually get quite a few rings like yours the more you play. If you want to try and gamble for a pvm ring that favours leech instead of stats, then you want to pray to the diablo gods for something like this, which I found last ladder season:

fools cannot spawn on this pb instead of repair mod. it is sth to do with the affixes of sword. 300+ed and fools cannot spawn on same item

Not sure if this qualifies. On one hand, this *could* have up to 25 strength, which would have been the most gfg bowazon ring there ever was... but on the other hand, if it were rare, it would still be gfg.

Yeah, I've just done some price checks on this ring, and I am blown away. Worth anywhere from 53 to 76 hrs on ladder... and maybe more now that rune prices have dropped once again. It is single-handedly the most expensive item I have found (or traded for) this season... and I've found a lot of amazing items. I was a little taken aback by the price because I was thinking 15-20hrs.

Very nice ring indeed, mysticc. Congrats.

I just finished 100 caster amulets, 50 blood belts, and 25 blood gloves. Other than an medium/small upgrade to my Travincial-GF belt (net of +12 str, +20 life, 3% OW, 3% GF), nothing great. Best was proably a crafted caster amulet with: +2 paladin skills, @20 resists, 8% FCR, 7% MLeech, +34 life, +17 mana)... maybe I'll find a need for it in PvM someday, but not exactly jaw dropping.

I think this season, and especially in the last 2 weeks, I have had better luck with crafting and gambling than I think any player has a right to. That's not to say I haven't been doing it a lot - I have.

Not too much. The attack rating is just a few numbers too low. 90 is the lowest you want, and 100-120 sells better. It does have 19 strength, which is nice. 31 mana is also low. It's not horrible though, but a better number that people want to see on this kind of ring is 70+. Mana leech is also too low - needs to be 6%.

If the ring had been 100 attack rating, 19 strength and 70 mana, I would say it would be worth a couple of HRs on west ladder - at today's end-of-ladder prices. More hrs on non-ladder, because hrs are worth a lot less there (inflation).

A few ists maybe on west ladder, at end-of-ladder prices. Probably too hard to sell and worth nothing.

Maybe I should write a guide on how to evaluate a ring or an amulet. Not to give prices, but to tell people what to look for and what is safe to just throw away.
