Nice not to see any deeds so far in this act! Of course, not everyone's done yet...

A little heads-up, survivors:

I will be leaving the country for a 5-week trip on June 25th... I will have only sporadic web access while I'm away. The tournament will not be quite over by then, so here's what this means for you:

1. The switch to Act 4 will take place on Sunday as scheduled.

2. Act 4 will be a one-week act as usual, which means the switch to Act 5 will take place on Sunday, June 19th.

3. You will then have until July 31st to complete Act 5 Hell. That's right. You just need to be done by the time I get back. This will give anyone else with early summer travel plans a chance to finish without rushing.

Drat! There is no amazon left. I have just occupied one of my two 'special stash' slots with a Cruel Matriarchal Bow with +3 automod. Figured that would be a really cool weapon for Ahsoka, especially if Larzuk would give it two sockets. I didn´t realize Ahsoka is dead...

Well, I didn´t give up any game changing item to free the slot, so I guess I´m now free to find something else to save for Act V...:p

After spending some time revisiting the council and LK, Dooku is now waiting in Act 4!

Offee has made it to act 4, I may do some more running or crafting, but its pretty doubtful.

Organa has now reached Pandemonium Fortress. As expected, the last leg of Act III was quite easy for her.

I finally managed to cube-socket a merc weapon with 5 sockets, and that was with a weapon that only had 1/6 chance to get it. :p

Switches for Act 4 Hell

Nice to see no needs in Act 3 (at least for the first five players... we'll see about the last two!). Switches should be made by Sunday at the latest, but you can send your character forward as soon as you're ready. As always, do not look at your new character until you have sent your act 3 character forward. Act 4 is a one-week act, so everyone should be done by Sunday the 19th. Good luck!

Good old Chewie, that I had in Act V Nightmare. Nice to see you again!
Yay, that´s a nice merc stick! Also, Chewie wears a great unique amulet that I had never seen before. Chewie´s own weapons are decent, but can certainly be improved upon.

I am now going to craft 9 axes for him. Going for Glorious Axes, since Chewie has good off-weapon IAS and I really like range 4 weapons with this character. The best NPC to shop them from may be unexpected for some of you (it was for me!): Ormus. He doesn´t just sell staves and such. He´s also conveniently close to the WP.

Chewbacca has defeated Diablo and moved on to Harrogath.

There was one very tough fight: against Spectral Hit Extra Strong LE Holy Shock Hephasto. Chewbacca had to tank Heph for his merc (with Concentrate setup) because the merc didn´t last five seconds against him unless I´d feed him rejuves often. Chewie needed a couple of purples himself, and a whole bunch of reds.

My many crafted axes didn´t yield any upgrade compared to his current crafted Feral Axe. There were a couple with slightly more damage per hit, but Chewie needed a much bigger damage upgrade to beat the old axe because it´s so fast.

While shopping for Glorious Axes, I scored one that was too good to use for crafting. I think the next player will be very eager to defeat Shenk, because Big Daddy is waiting in the stash, just begging for a Larzuk socket or two.

Dooku received and played through A4.

CE is pretty good. As usual, Diablo was kind enough to focus on the Clay Golem and ignore Merc & Skellies. Unexciting drop.

Nice work you two. By the way, everybody: please do post when/if you defeat Act 4, because if everyone finishes early, we can switch early.

I think it`s safe to say I``m not going to pass Palpatine to Kestegs until Wednesday. I really hope that`s ok with everybody.

My vacation starts on wednesday, so the next character should be easily finished in time.

No worries Thomh, I will still have plenty of time to do act 4 in time even with a couple of days, so don't rush it!

binks sent. he is a total powerhouse

started offee briefly in act 4, but she was set up totally wrong so spent a while reordering inventory and hotkeys! ran out of time to actually play. That and 2 hideous balrog bosspacks right out the gate reminded me to take my time with it

Nice work everybody! I'll be rooting for you, even though only two of the surviving characters ever crossed my path - not that there is ANY correlation there! Particularly pulling for Dooku, as one of my power-choice characters. I thought it was an inspired and brilliant decision to add skeleton mastery to a necromancer with raise skeleton.
