WOAH, big claim there. Can you elaborate on that at all. You've been awfully quiet these past few days, and it's going to take a lot of explaining for me to not be suspicious of you, but if you have proof, let's hear it.

Wanting to vote you, and me voting BA and you handing me an item that helps the town ("that you built"???) makes me mafia?

If you passed on an item to me, you and I would both know what that particular piece of kit does. Agreed?

I cannot make sense of your post, particularly your conclusions. You are certain that BA is not anti-town, then?

Well I a Scientist I build things that help out the town (I would recommend a cop check me out but I'll probably be NK'd or kidnapped soon after this) I handed a forensic kit to Loz last night - granted I had no idea about his alignment as this stage but as he had the day previous wantied to lynch me (or a good target) I thought it would be a good test - i.e. would he mention it - he had not up to that post i quoted and I was happy for it to be kept quiet hoping he would use it but then he mentioned he was still happy for an ivan lynch (see my prevous post) that square away does not compute with the information he has, he knows full well that I'm townie aligned - the forensic kit by the way allows Loz to target a dead body and another person. He will get a result of whether the player killed that the dead person.

How can a mafia aligned person pass on an item designed to help the town - answer is they cannot - you got handed an item from me (yes I made it) that should of answered all your ivan alignment questions - but you thought you would sneak in that comment - your hand has been caught in the cookie jar face it scum!

I can confirm that KrazeyIvan did something to LozHinge last night, but I know nothing more than that.

This really makes me want to swap my vote to LozHinge. Ivan's claims on top of LozHinge's earlier "soft-claim to be vanilla townie" is enough to make me think he's scum now.

KI is confirmed Town, folks, unless he is some weird variant of anti-town scientist that makes items that help the town. :)

I held off using the kit last night as the mechanics of how it works makes it unlikely to be of much use. Trust me, I have pored over the description and I won't even consider using it until much closer to end-game, assuming I survive.

Krazeyivan, are you prepared to reconsider a BA vote? You have effectively said BA is Town because I am mafia (in your eyes) - I am most certainly not mafia or anti-town and I consider BA to be our best candidate (now that I have no intention of voting you!).

I have a role that I would like to not claim for obvious reasons and leads me to believe marahumm has more to his story than so far claimed. But, this would be an almost sure thing. LoZ would not hold off on using it, and if he did, this accusation would provoke him to use it to back up his claim. He has not because he can not.

If I was mafia, and I was handed a town-aligned item that I knew came from Krazeyivan, why would I continue to mention that I want to vote Krazeyivan, knowing that Krazeyivan would spot this and expose me?

If someone suggests double-bluff, I may fall off the wagon, right here, right now :)

If you were mafia you probably wouldn't receive an item and tried to convince us you did when KI already said he gave you one. Provide info only someone with the item can know or eat rope.

Some info KI hasn't already told us.

OK, the info.
I can only use the kit at night. I target a dead body and a live player. If the live player killed the person who is dead, I get a positive result. I would have to pick the mafia hitman or the SK (assuming there is one) and match them to the particular victim that they killed.

The odds of this working are not good. If I target a member of the mafia team who is NOT the hitman, I assume I get a negative. I would have to be very lucky for the item to be of any use, so it was my intention to say nothing of it and hope that the person who gave it to me would understand why. The odds of a useful strike would increase over time.

Then, IQ levels in the thread suddenly bottomed out and some of you are going to waste the first lynch that we are actually going to manage, on me. :scratchchin:

I am a "The City Slicker", which I hinted at on day 1 when I was talking like someone who comes from the city. Plain townie.

Can no one see this? ReallY?

If your saying you were not informed - well I'm not sure how to take it to be honest.

My next item is not going to be ready for 2 day phases team but I'm informed it will be worth it...

Meh, you basicly told us the same thing Ivan told us. Adding that you need to pick the mafia hitman or SK may seem like new info, but it's just the same wrapped in a different layer. Yes you need to target the player actually doing the deed.

Give the percentage of this item working and Ivan can confirm or deny and we either have scum or 2 conftownies.

Well at least your argument is plausible IF you were not told who provided the item, I honestly did not think you would not be told.

I'm still OK with mara as a lynch - his history this game is a bit off (where is the big explanation of your thoughts mara?) Looking at it - he has OK'd TC (who also has some iffy wording on his role this game)

Bad Ash is fingering mara too - IF we lynch mara and he is mafia - then Bad Ash gets a reprieve also his reading of TC is worth squat and we can have a go there too.

Noodle is coasting in my eyes too but I have nothing good or bad to evidence foul play.

The trouble is we have no way of knowing if he was uninformed or if he's just trying to cover his butt, all of what loz is saying is speculative and the opportunity to confrim the facts passed when KI said what the item was unless you can elaborate further.

Also, saying the IQ dropped out and we are wasting a lynch are threats which aren't usually a sign of someone who is vanilla townie. It is someone trying to bully the town into getting what he wants

The way I see is as follows

1) The lynch on Loz hinges around the premise of whether he was told about the item (specifically where it came from)
2) We have the option of a Mara lynch - which at least would confirm info on Mara and also shed light on two other players namely TC and Bad Ash.
3) Lets not forget those players who seem to be free-wheelin so far - who has the least posts today? Whats our plan for the lurkers?

If we as the town want to win we better get it something sorted quick smart

To be honest BA, I have had to rethink my comment.

I had no idea that a mafia who cannot receive a Scientist item would not be informed of the event - in which case my silence on the subject could be viewed very suspiciously.

Just from my point of view, until people posted more and I had a chance to think things through, my incomprehension turned to exasperation. I apologise to any whose IQs haven't dropped :)

Unfortunately, KI when describing the item,. didn't hold back on anything, so making it impossible for me to confirm the issue with new info. :( The only thing that KI didn't mention is that it is "one-shot". Hardly conclusive.

Notice before Ivan explains what the item is Loz uses the word KIT to describe the item. Not object, not thing, but a kit. Coincidence? I highly doubt it. From that word, it would seem Loz definitely received said item, and if that's true, based on the post, where he says "you would know what the item does if you sent it", I'm going with my feeling that he's telling the truth.

It is important to note that the post came before ivans explanation.

For those of you who quickly switched to Loz...hmm interesting.
