even unsocketed and compared to Passion, this sword
doubles my attack rating to 10k from 5k.
frees up 37 increased attack speed I'd have to find on other gear.
does more damage per swing because the 160 light damage is boosted to, like, 600 by lightning mastery.
And the difference in physical damage is negligible.
I don't get zeal but I hit more often and I'm not locked in zeal animation.
Even if it was just a plain magic Fool's Phaseblade of Quickness I don't think I'd toss it.

Ok. Cool. Thanks. I'm glad I didn't charsi. What would you recommend for socket then?
yeah. Lightning mastery boosts all sources of lightning damage. So it is between 500 and 600 extra damage instead of 160. Not the best lightning mod I could have gotten.

I stand corrected, there is a better weapon for PvP dreamer, a fools/40ias pb with 2 sockets. However I've been looking for fool's/40ias/2os pb for more than a year now...
With a phase blade, 72ias is needed to reach 4fpa zeal with conviction. A 1os/40ias/fools pb like yours can be socketed with shael or 15ias/15res or 15ias/100ar jewel, combined with a 20ias gloves or highlords/cat's eye for a total of 75-80ias. Had your pb had 2os, ias gloves is not needed.
For a budget build using your pb I would suggest dream helm + dream shield, low mara's or highlords, tgods, vipermagi or shaftstop, 2 raven frosts, treks and a 20ias gloves if using mara's or bloodfist if using highlords.

rare gloves need ias for starters, except triple res gloves with stats...

Found this a little while ago, I haven't played in over a year so I'm not sure if it's actually worth anything. Seemed to be good compared to the other rares I pick up.
Think I'd be able to get anything for it?

I personally would not, it is of the slowest speed for claws[10] which is the most unfortunate thing about it, but it's not like the runes are that expensive. I would only up it if you intend to use it yourself.
