The Noodle Compound V. 2.0

Re: The Noodle Compound

Can't wait to bring swift justice to you rats.

So it was not Mouse Guard, but seems to share the same basic premise: mice with swords.

Meet Dain of the Mouse Guard, my new avatar.

Hail all those who are able,
any mouse can,
any mouse will,
but the Guard prevail.

Re: The Noodle Compound

Its been so long since I've read any redwall books...

They were good though, and I think there was a TV series too.

Re: The Noodle Compound

I only ever read, what I think, was the very first one.

A loooong time ago. 13 years ago I think.

It was quite good.

I've still almost forgotten what a cartoon was. Only scattered memories of a long lost childhood, which soon gave way to things like Rurourni Kenshin, Outlaw Star and Escaflowne and then abruptly ended as I never could find (or, more precisely actually attempted/tried to) Anime that was just as good as those listed.

(I'm open to suggestions, people)

And yes, you all read correctly, Dragon Ball Z was NOT in that list. I never really got into it.

Re: The Noodle Compound

Anime is greek to me.

There a show called Naruto that I saw as I was flipping to the discover channel, I think thats anime. Bleach too, my friend's brother got into that for a bit.

EDIT: I don't know anything about either of those two, but I think they're both anime... Watched Yu-gi-oh back in the day, when I was ~10. Still got like $3,000 worth of cards and figures in boxes in the basement. Hopefully some nut will buy 'em someday.

*hits head on table*

Someone tell me I'm not insane.

YAY! <3 cartoons. :D

But britpop? Is that like... British pop? o.O

Btw don't hit your head on the table. It's not good for you. :S

Oh and no you're not going insane. It's just one of many side effects of The Noodle Compound. >_>

For cartoons or anime?

I've forgotten the names of most cartoons I used to watch, but I do still watch some anime shows. Mainly Avatar The Last Airbender and Full Metal Alchemist.

Indeed. Soon, you will find yourself going over to this thread, scrolling down to the bottom where there's that quick reply box and typing

What Mikachu will be doing soon said:
I'm in.890

It is inevitable. It is your destiny. (Even though I don't believe in destiny. Free will all the way, biznatches)

Re: The Noodle Compound

*chuckle*

Mmmm no! I won't play this time! Next time maybe.

I love manga, I read so much of it I start imagining people as manga. Mostly I read depressing ones such as Ayo no Monogatari...

Britpop is indeed....british pop. I used to live there, and I have a strong laaandaan accent. Sounds odd out here xD

if you don't like Dragon Ball Z I'd suggest NOT looking into Naruto/Bleach.

A couple I've really enjoyed that you might want to take a look at is Full Metal Alchemist (VERY not for kids) and Death Note (think of this as an anime version of a mafia game). Cowboy Bebop is good as well, a bit like Outlaw Star but a little more mellow (broke bounty hunters trying to make a living basically).

anime-media.com is where I go for whenever I watch some anime. They have a wide variety of shows for you to check out.
