Still nothing great for me. Mal. Um alibaba, vipermagi. I did get lucky early on with 35 spirit crystal sword and 33 fcr monarch, but that's getting old. I did find a natures peace and 7% manald yesterday.

Got an Ohm rune from the Pit earlier in Hell difficulty. Managed to trade that pretty quickly for a Vex and was able to make a legit* Heart of the Oak, only a little more than a week into the new ladder.

*for all intents and purposes, no idea how the Vex I traded for originated

+22 shape shift skiller. I do not find any high runes, tal armors, Hoz, shako's like everybody seems to be finding.

Guess I do not have alot of luck :(

Christ**** just got a cham rune from Mephisto. According to 1.11 drop calculator, its practically one in a million. (0.001196%)

That will teach you never to check durability of certain items in NL :smug:.

Anyway, it's not too late to start on ladder.

I found 4 Isenhart's Lightbrands within an hour of playing yesterday, in Nightmare. But other then the green broad sword awesomeness, my best drop was a hel rune.

Last night I found d2 clone and killed him for my first ever found anni 13/12/5 =/

Then in HELL 3 countess runs and 1 pit run and 1 andy run I found..

Ist, Mal, Lem, Um, Shaftstop, Gheed 39%, and The New Event thing from Andy!

When you get lucky, you get lucky I guess :) I have only about 20% prior to gheeds.. so maybe that helps my rune drops.

I feel like I've been doing something wrong. I see so many people finding HRs, and all I can find is Io and Lems. For MF I've been running games of Andy, Countess, Meph, and the LK chests. How are people finding so many HRs? Oh ya and Shakos too! Want to find.

Please divulge your secrets of rune finding to me.

shako is pretty random, traded mine vs hoz (dumn luck finding it in hell from normal monster in den of eveil lol) but my highest found rune now is FAL, and got lucky with my bo barb, hf dropped um for him in hell.

other wise, diablo2 hates me with runedrops.

Last Ladder season, I've found an OHM in Act1 pit, so my advice is to clear overcrowded Lvl 85 areas (Act1 pits, Act2 ancient tunnels, Chaos sanctuary...) and the cow level. A good javazon should do a great job for this :).
