Necro going like a train with two mules in tow with sol for insight on first trip to nm countess, 4os partizan in the stony tomb and lum on the run to summoner (terror making for fast clearance here) coupled with the first spirit sword shortly after.

Should have done my homework before coming back to D2.
Something about it being better to have loved and lost comes to mind, but rings hollow.
I found a Nightsmoke yesterday, which really helps compliment my ES-lacking sorc. On a related note, how does Nightsmoke work? In particular, how does it work with ES? If I dump 7pts into ES (50% absorb), I assume 75% damage taken would be taken from mana. How does Telekinesis affect this? Does it affect Nightsmoke at all? etc.
Used my first Sol on a Lore. Should have saved it for Insight. How high can I upgrade runes using the cube? I couldn't get Thul runes to upgrade last night, and in general my inventory is overflowing with the lower runes.
Also just found a spectral shard. I've been looking for a good 1h to pair with a rhyme or ancient's pledge. I think I found it. =)

Sols are so common now, dont worry about. Ive found about 5 myself so far, just from doing random stuff.
As for transmuting higher runes, you need a gem of some sort to upgrade them.

So far my best item is a rare sorc orb of some kind... not even fcr on it xD I haven't been playing too long though, what can I expect.

Was just about to call it a day, been playing since about 8pm (GMT), and had just finished doing one final cow run with a friend. Me and my friend decided to do one more hell countess run, as I said I was feeling a bit lucky.
