Don't really have any problem to solo on /p8. It's starting to slow down in act 4 hell, though, but I think that's mostly due to my incredibly low chance to hit (did only check for the council, which was 62% at level 86). Bases were, like EightDigitSin's, from Nightfind. So, thanks again for these at this point .

Just had the weirdest Skiller cubing spree:
I picked up two (rubbish) ilvl 52 GCs in Lower Kurast NM within a couple of screens (again with my yellowbellied Assassin).
Cubed the first one: Shadow Skiller - nice, I can use that.

Woot! Ever since my second, third, and fourth characters all got Guls from Hellforge, I've been waiting for a proper base for 'Death'.

Running Pits today for the MF league, I found my first ever eth Berserker Axe... but with no sockets (d'oh!). I figured I might as well cross my fingers and roll it in the cube--only 1 in 6 chance, but nothing to lose, right? It got 5 sockets! :yes:

I didn't realize how lucky those Guls were until I looked at threads from HF rushers and saw how long they could go without one sometimes..

My first plan for the 'Death' will definitely be a Fanatic Zealot. Fanaticism and Death are a perfect fit, IMO, since the speed from fanat makes up for Death's only short-coming (lack of IAS) and puts 4fpa Zeal within reach. I've actually been putting off making the Zealot specifically because I wanted to save him for Death. :thumbsup:
