As bad as it might make me look, sitro made me change my mind, i will try to help the town by finding a better target instead of giving up.

The fool and his will

We had stayed in the city hall all day, arguing back and forth. The note we had received this morning was clear; "Don't F with the Wilmington Mafia. Jeez." We had to take it seriously.

Conversation had flung back and forth all day with the people accusing each other of this and that. In the end, the majority had reached a conclusion, and called out for the truth to be revealed. Everyone stood up from the table we were gathered around, and slowly turned their heads towards Ludacris, who had an odd smile upon his face. The chief of police cuffed him and escorted him out of the backdoor, with the crowd on their tails. Ludacris didn't resist. Someone might've even seen him wink.

Ludacris was put beside the rear wall, facing the crowd. He was given the chance to state his last words, and oddly enough, he asked me to approach him. I walked to him, and he whispered; "Closer." I leaned forward. "Tell them... *unintelligible*" I looked at him in an awe, not quite realizing what he just said. Then the chief asked me to back off into the crowd, as his men prepared to take the shots on Ludacris. A black hood was pulled over his head, and the ready command given to the troops.

FIRE! Five simultaneous shots rang in my ears. When I opened my eyes, I saw Ludacris' body that had slumped to the ground. I asked for everyone's attention to make Ludacris' last wish come true, to the best of my ability.

"Ahem... Ludacris wanted me to tell everyone... uhmm... well, here goes. *Laughter, even more manical laughter, ending in a grand finale of high pitched, squealing laughter, bringing tears to my eyes.*"

That was his last wish.

Upon further investigation, he was revealed to be the Jester. Ludacris wins the game alongside anyone else who in the end will, as his only goal was to die by lynching. Had he been NK'd, or survived to the end, he'd lost.

It is now Night 1, if you're allowed to do something, do it.

Congrats Ludacris. :thumbsup:

Personal note: How fitting that one who had the Joker avatar got the role... Oh well, random is random.
edit: Can't modkill a dead person, now can I? \/ ;) My clock must be a bit ahead, as the forum shows it's only 20:58. Oh well.

Astonishing panorama of the end times


The body of SiTro was found hanging naked from a light pole infront of Joe's Wild Bronco Bar and Grill. He was killed by a single stab of a knife in his upper right back near the neck, severing the Femoral Artery and causing death instantly. There were no fingerprints on the knife. However, the knife was a "Crocodile Dundee" type of survival knife. It also said Made in down under.

A pool of blood had formed under the body and there was no note to be seen.

On taking the body down, a note is indeed discovered carved into SiTro's backside.

It reads:

"Five to find,
Three are one,
In the end you will number none.

Come get me,
With your files don't arrest me,
I'm Lucifer's child.

I see the WORLD IN CONFLICT, as they are KILLED and EVISCERATED to DEATH!!!!"

I was alerted to the coroner's office to meet with the coroner when he waited for SiTro's body for examination. The car steered to the backdoor, and the driver hopped out, popping the trunk for us.

"The stiff's all yours." He proclaimed.

The coroner and I looked in the back of the car and after that, at each other.
"What body? Where is SiTro?"

"What?!" The driver was astonished. "But... he was right there, I packed him myself!"

Something strange was going on, and I didn't like it one bit. Now I had to go face the media with nothing to tell about SiTro. The vultures will tear me apart...

It is now Day 2, SiTro is dead, his role is unknown due to the missing body.

Hm. Why SiTro? My thoughts:

1) He was an active townie, including coaching others on how to play. His impact went beyond observations and votes. This may have been enough for him to be a primary target of the mafia.

2) Post 289, he mentions that he would like to lynch Bad Ash or DLoveSwe. I think it's important to note that he justified this position because he thought we could learn the most from the disclosure of their roles. He did not accuse them of being mafia.

Does this cast suspicion on Bad Ash and DLoveSwe? Possibly, but not in my mind. I think they are savvy enough players to realize that immediately night killing someone who mentions he would like to lynch them would make them seem like mafioso. I'm inclined to assume they're townie at this point.

The absence of a body troubles me. For all we know, SiTro could have been a mafioso who got caught by some sort of role that reflects damage back at the player who is making the kill. While this is possible, I'll adhere to Occam's Razor at this point, and assume the simplest explanation (that he was townie) is correct.

Any other thoughts on why SiTro was targeted?

Maybe, we won't really know for sure until another nightphase.

SiTro's a strong player so it's not really much to go there, but we should analyze any fueds he hade for some information.

It seems there might be a coroner too which means we might get to know nightkills alignments.

BTW, I hate VI's and it was pretty wierd Luda didn't do more to sway his oncoming lynch towards TC even though it prob could've been done. Well grats Luda anyways!

Noodle: If you take into account how the body is found would you think it might be the work of an SK type role?

The knife in the back and especially the way the note is delivered seem to point that out.

While it is possible that there is an SK, your theory of him being hit by the mafia makes sense also as Sitro could have been a threat to them.

well, if we take the SK into account, does that mean that he could be working with the mafia, but only in the end, stab them in the back (no pun intended)? i mean, if there are two sets of bad guys, shouldn't there have been TWO deaths and not one?

Actually no. The SK (if any) would not be workin with the mafia because the mission of an SK is to be the last one standing and to kill everyone - town and mafia and other roletypes included. If we do have an SK, it's possible that the mafia could not get things done on time (this has happened before) or maybe they were blocked.

There could have been two deaths. But if there was a roleblock or save of some sort we can end up with one.. or even none in some cases.

That makes sense to me.

Any significance to the knife being from Australia? It's mentioned twice in the write-up, when it's described as a Crocodile Dundee blade, and that it was marked as being made Down Under. Who here is from Australia? I believe it was mentioned previously in this thread - I'll go take a look.

Im really inclined to think Sitro was killed by a serial killer, too much blood and too much violence described in the story. Seeing as how Ankeli likes to tell stories, i would say that he likes to do it by the book, as in have the mafia do clean and swift skills, since their goal is to stay hidden, and the SK be the one that kills and leaves a big mess.
I do agree with the that the coroner might be a real role that might let us know the role of the killed person, else i dont know why Ankeli mentioned that sitros role isnt known due to the lack of a body. Maybe the coroner investigates bodies and reveals their roles. This could be either a passive power or its not really a role but an even that happens in some circumstances. Just analysing all the points here imo.

Also, like i stated before the day ended, i will try to help the town some other way, if everyone still belives i am mafia, then so be it, but i will do my best to help as much as possible untill the lynch time comes. I was right about Luda not being mafia afterall :p

Damn I missed voting last round - meeting at work ran on too long and when I got to the PC I was 15 min into night!

Well done Luda - you share the hopefully town win!

Regards the Oz Knife - surely thats too easy to link to Orphan?!?
He mentioned he was from Oz - but would ankeli make it that easy?

Its not a certainty that he was townie but its definitely leaning that way - it could be a SK gutted a mafia player, with no role confirmation we cannot be 100% certain.

Sitro did mention DLoveSwe and Bad Ash as noodle said but I would not be so quick to overlook that - they could easily think we would dismiss that as its too obvious. DLoveSwe did "float" through day 1 in my opinion.

And Asrrin - get the bloodhound back and rocking! Or you'll get the Finger of Suspicion sir! :)

Orphan is the only one who has claimed to be from Australia, couples with the fact that the body is missing, I'm guessing the mafia have a Janitor role that can frame someone.

Also, is everyone else as ticked off as me about Luda?
