Yep got all 4 accounts of mine as well . I used D2loader for a good 2 years , mainly just so I could BO myself or mule items efficiently .. Im ok with the characters but Damn all those items I lost were mine .. Hope I can make a new account on the same Cd keys ...

Both my accounts are fine, then again I have never used any 3rd party software, not even d2loader. Ever.

i usually dont feel bad one bit about ppl that cant play the game legit, but i have to say this one is a bit extreme; couldnt they have sent some kind of warning or something? thats like quitting on your gf because she wasnt doing something you never asked for.

lol, this is nothing man, i just went on d2jsp and found a thread where a guy was making fun of people that got banned. well, he actually just posted once and there were 4 pages worth of laughter from raging nerds. it was simply comical, i had a very good laugh at that. simply hilarious.

lol, think about how many of them said "noob" to others because they werent using 3pp software, or hacking, or whatever. whos the naked noob looking for sigon's set now?

i've always thought that if you're too stupid to get rich legit YOU are the noob.

plus, whats the point of playing the game that way anyway, when any idiot that flip burgers for a living can buy a crapload of godly gear online for cheap. being "rich" is pointless if you didnt earn it, and imo not rewarding.

but i guess that if you have a sad and pathological need to "own" stuff, thats another story...

now see this is where it gets interesting. they couldn't detect you for simply using d2loader. only the injected dlls. so bottom line is, any hack that has to inject something into the diablo core files is pretty much quaranteed to get you banned once warden is set loose.

if i haven't left the bot (yes a bot) on during the school day the warden could've sucked my you-know-what. but no, i was a greedy sucker and the warden scanned my files. speaking of which, i gotta get rid of it now. I'll just run it in the -txt argument, that way you don't inject anything ^_^

I don't think people that got banned care anymore. I didn't care before I played, while I played, and even now it doesn't change my mood towards the game. It all is simply logical. When I started haxing i pretty much knew that sooner or later i'd get slammed by warden. But, i definitely enjoy when people give you the "deer in the headlights" look or feel. something like smoking. when you smoke and your cells turn cancerous, what is the first thing that comes through your mind? As an average person, I'd say "How could have this happened to me? They got to be wrong". Well believe me, their not. You did a pointless thing in your life that could result in nothing but cancer, hence, you got cancer.

I concur. Even though 'it could' be through. If you read b.net's terms it simply states that you're only allowed to have one connection to b.net.

But for now, let's say it's d2loader. It appears most people that gotten banned used that program or used it in the past.

I have my laptop and my desktop... i could possibly have a 3rd laptop and get another friend's CD key (who plays this game anymore anyway?) and have 3 set up for glitch rushing. sick

Gorny, Any plans on going through this thread and banning the people who are openly admitting to hacking. Would be a rather $#!^house day for them, loosing their D2 acc and there Forum acc.

I don't see how this could apply to those people who only used d2loader for self-muling/rushing. Can you?

My TRADE mule account got banned too! My cd key and other accounts are fine though.

Blizzard better fixed this =/

EDIT: and no i don't use d2loader, had always did self-muling. i only logined to my mule account for a minute or so, so i can get items into the mule for a trade. strange lol.

well while your using it, maybe. but what i think the warden does it is only checks the source dlls and not really what's going on in the window. i mean i've seen warden go crazy while my friend was running his bot all day long with modded graphics. here you have to replace the original file with the one from d2loader to run 2 windows of d2 at once and that's what i think is being detected. and what i meant there is sort of like "in the past use", meaning it doesn't keep track of how d2 was ran and with which files. it doesn't keep history of you using d2loader now does it?

Warden is a dynamic program, it can be change to scan and log pretty much anything it wants to. Not saying that the current version warden is necessary doing that, but "check your d2 directory for a file call "d2loader.exe" shouldn't be something outside of warden's technical capability. In fact if you think about it, a new patch can make d2 scan for new files in it's directory all the time.

Ever since patch 1.12 was released you could play D2 without a CD, as long as you copied all the MPQ's from the game. You don't need any third party programs for that anymore.

Oh, well, I just started playing again a month ago so no big loss for me.
My only minor frustration is that I never got the chance to use my very first Faith bow that was so generously donated to me by a fellow forum member ='(

This is probably the biggest massive ban for Starcraft and Diablo2, over 350,000 accounts! (www.battle.net) Anyone who used 3rd party programs, got the boot. All those level 90 to level 99 baal bots are all gone. Blizzard is very aggressive this time. We have underestimated the power of WARDEN. Warden, once activated, is actually a spy program made by Blizzard which can enter our computers to scan D2 folder and any modified dll's, we have actually allowed Warden by agreeing with the Terms and Conditions of Battle.net.

also the good thing about d2loader being banned is now A TON of hacks are gone. It's not reasonable to expect blizzard to go after every plugin that is released for the d2loader.
