Diablo 2 Lod intended cd key issue / Please help..

Hello everyone,

I've bought new Diablo game few hours ago.. Re-Installed game but when i am trying to connect battle.net it says your cd key intended for another application..

Searched but find nothing.. Mods or exp. playes may know the solution.. /:

I've never heard of that before. The game comes with two cd keys, one for Diablo2 and one for Lord of Destruction. Are you sure that you used the right cd key for each installation?

What I would do: If there are any problems, take it back to the store. Tell them it doesn't work and you want a different one.

You could also contact Blizzard's customer support. They may know the best solution.

Another possibility: I have heard that on Blizzard's website it is possible to enter in your cd key, and it will allow you to download installation files and they will give you a new cd key that will work with the download.

But there is something missing on my description.. I've bought only Diablo 2: LOD.. is it enough for playing on battle ? Or do i need diablo 2 classic cd keys ?

Personally I'd re-install making sure you have used the correct keys. Only then would I return it to the store.

EDIT:
You need DiabloII which is three discs IIRC and LoD which is one disk. Unless you get the BattleChest they will be sold separately.

yes, you need both d2 classic and d2 lod cdkeys to play on bnet
