War Spike for Breath of the Dying?

A while back I remember a discussion regarding using a War Spike instead of a Berserker Axe for Breath of the Dying. I can not remember the logic or reasoning for this. I would always assume that Breath of the Dying would be best used in a eth Zerker. Can anyone clue me in on why I should consider a Warspike?

p.s. The reason I ask is that I am thinking of making a Frenzy barb, with one weapon being Beast, the other either Death (which I have already from last ladder) or making Breath of the Dying.

Faster I think. If you look on AS, the speed on it is [-10] whereas the Berserker Axe is [0].

Yes, the War Spike is a faster base speed weapon...

Beast + Death is a helluva combo... save your runes and just go with it. I went Beast BA and eDeath Ettin on my Frenzybarb last ladder... the IAS support needed to reach 5 fpa Frenzy was minimal (IIRC his Highlord's took care of it). Unstoppable Barb. Ate Ubers for breakfast. Don't underestimate Fanaticism + lots of Crushing Blow.

i have a 6 sock eth geat poleaxe, it has 190 max dmg i think..

does it worth anything at all?
