Re: OT: SPF mafia round 7 - Return to Salem
Apparently, a couple of concerns are coming up about me. First, why did I suggest Magicboy might have been turned? I'm fond of coming up with bizarre possibilities. Right or wrong, it's fun to imagine complex schemes. That's just how I am. I've done that in previous games (much to Naz's dislike) and I'm trying to tone it down this time. He could have been, it's a possibility, so I examined it.
Second, why do I wait to vote until the end of the day? The rules state that in order to unvote, you have to specifically unvote for the person you voted for. I'm not likely to remember that (ask water_moon afterwards about my patchy memory for details) and I'm not particularly fond of hunting back through for my posts just to see who I voted for. So I decided that with this rule in place, I'd just save my vote for near the end of the day (or in lukin's case I was pretty certain I wouldn't want to change my vote) so there'd be no worries about unvoting. Plus, at the beginning, before we knew they'd selected greed, it was a way to protect myself from vengeance.
I'm still really not decided on who gets my vote today. Obviously not Merlin or Bob. Though neither is completely verified, it's safe enough to say they're not the remaining enemy. Probably not Jason, as he is at least being helpful for the most part. Though he could very well be leading us into a trap. I'm not confident about Thyiad, but I don't think she's an enemy. Serdash and maatiarna aren't really setting anything off in my mind, but at this point, that's enough to make me suspicious of them, though with the Thyiad/maatiarna fight, I'm less suspicious of maatiarna. Puresummon is giving me a bit of a bad feeling, but I'll need to reread (something I'm not eager to do just yet). Naz is my most likely candidate, but again, I'm really not too sure at this point.
