High Level Levelling

Hi guys.

I've been patiently Baalrunning with my Trapsin and have managed to reach Lvl88. I managed to get about 1.5 of the way towards Lvl89, but it's slow going!

Where is the best place to be levelling her atm? I wasn't sure if Baalruns were the best, or whether somewhere 'monster heavy' like CS runs, or Uber levelling would prove a better use of my time?

I'm using Ondal's and a {reasonable} Anni, so I can't really get any extra from equipment.

Any tips, or even some figures would be nice :thumbsup:

Patience is key, my friend :smiley:

8 player baalruns are the fastest way, but if you find that slow going, there isn't a way to make it faster afaik. A 10% XP anni helps a lot already.

the game applies increasingly step penalties to the amount of experience you earn once you get past level 70(!)

mix it up by running areas whether its mfin or keyrunning or whatever

I run my hammerdin in Chaos while everyone else does baal. I net 1-2.5 mill XP per run @ level 92.

fastest way to hit 93lvl - glitched uber tristram leveling. with very well organized party u can reach 94lvl a bit faster then in baalruns. after then - only baalruns. try to get into bp team - u will level a bit faster then others in party then.

Sadly 8 person Baal runs are now almost completely non-existent thanks to the plethora of those *@% Baal bots. On the one hand it is somewhat nice to be able to find now, as well as get into a Baal game. But mostly, especially at night, it will be at most 3-4 people. As a result I have completely stopped all together leveling my chars because it is just so mind numbingly boring. After bringing my pally to 95 and sorc to 94 I have since not been able to level them any more simply because just entering a baal bot run gives almost zero experience to the point that it would take days if not weeks to level.

You could start running your own Baal games. Without any other alternative I'd just sit in the bot games even if they do only have 3-4 people, or stop leveling altogether if I were you.

level 88 to 89 is'nt hard at all :rolleyes:

93+ is worse :wink3:

they don't always spawn the same monster like in baal, so in some games with low monster density you won't ge ta lot of experience. but in some games you do... and that's a lot of experience

you get to find ilvl 85 items while no one fighting you for them, also monsters are extremely easy, and since you are making the kills, you are not sharing experience with anyone

my experience from 92-93

baal run average (no shrine no ondal, just 9% anni) = ~ 1 mil from start to finish
pit run AVERAGE (meaning average of good and bad runs) = ~ 1.5 mil (note, i pit while everyone else baal, so takes the same time as baal run)

and of course, since the unique monster in pit curse a lot, xp shrine don't help you if you going to pit,

where as if you shrine in baal runs and sit in corner, that could easily award you with ~2 mil

just some personal experience
