Best Items to Gamble for?

I like gambling boots , The best kicker boots are rare. I've got a pair in blue right now that's nb.. did I mention they were blue?

i can't think of ANY combo of mods that would make me pass over up'd gores for pvm or shadow dancers for pvp on a kicker. i really can't.
I only gamble the first 2, but these are the best options imo
1. Coronet (for a chance of jewelers mod on tiara/diadem + same reason as circlets)
2. Circlet (popular because 2sk/20fcr beats uniques and are because of that wanted and easily tradable, and have a decent value even lack of other useful mods besides +2skills/20fcr. Rares are best, but magics can also be quite good)
3. Amulets (good chance of getting skills + good mods, rares best options, only few magics are worth while)
4. Rings (rare FCR rings is what u should aim for, no fcr means the rings must have a almost impossible combination of pre -suffixes to be godly)
Dont even think about it to gamble for uniques btw. Its always a plesant suprise to encounter them, but should not be what ur aiming for
Boots have a far less chance of being good, since only rares can be decent and rares dont spawn very often. Magics are simply crap.
Gloves is doable but i wouldnt gamble these. +3/20ias are shoppable and rares are to hard to get, and a very low chance of them actually being good. (crafts beats these so the value can never be that high)
Best claws are shoppable @ anya

you cannot shop a +2/fools/2sox/40ias/+3LS/+3Venom/+3Fade claw at Anya. you can however, gamble one (allegedly)
the odds of gambling/imbueing one is exceedingly low i admit (and you have no idea the MOUNTAINS of gold i've gambled trying to get one), but they can (theoretically) spawn.
thats the nice thing about gambling, you get to specify the base item you want.
Yes thats true, maybe ive should have put it this way: ''some of the best claws are shoppable''.
But if i needed such a claw i would search for it @ other players. Trade it from the amount of runes i got from gambling good circlets/coronets/amulets.
Gambling claws is imho a waste of time. But everyone must choose for himself.

Wait, how did the quest put 2 sockets in? Does the socketing quest put the max sockets in magical items?
I thought it was just one socket for all non-whites.

Ever since I came back last year, I've gambled well over 20 million gold and didn't see a single unique, only loads of magics and a few rares...

A few weeks ago I gambled a perfect Mara's from Anya, and then within the same week, a perfect Mara's dropped in Pits.
Pretty sure the odds are the same as winning the lottery but I'm not rich
