Making Golem out of Lawbringer Sword question

Hi

I was thinking about making my next Iron Golem out of a Lawbringer Sword. Mainly for the Sanctuary Aura.

Should do good damage to the undead and extra Life Leech for my Golem.

What I would like to know is - are any damage benefits passed on to my Skellies damage against undead. Or benefits only my golem.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

All of the benefits of the level 16-18 Sanctuary Aura will be passed on to your Skeletons, Iron Golem, etc.. The Sanctuary Aura will also

Oops sorry, I spazzed out there!

anyways. . .

The Sanctuary Aura will also allow you (or your Iron Golem) to leech from normally unleechable Undead. The only problem is the same for all high level item made Iron Golems. Which is that Iron Golems will occasionally go "poof" through no fault of your own. This would obviously be quite frustrating!
Of course there is also a chance that you will never experience this, and play through the entire game without a hitch, whilst clobbering any undead that cross your path. Good luck, ye hath been forewarned!

Hello,

I did not want to recommend Life Tap because the 20% ctc Decrepify from the Lawbringer would be overwriting/interfering with it. I was actually going to suggest using Attract or Confuse, as they cannot be overwritten by Decrepify.

I suppose in hindsight I should not have even mentioned the undead leeching feature of the Sanctuary Aura. I doubt that this character is a Meleemancer anyhow, and therefore it would only really affect the Iron Golem or some Revive with innate life leech. Also, as Mad Mantis said you can if you so desire use Life Tap for the same effect, albeit temporary.

Gee, I don't like the sound of that. My skellies take extra damage too. Can someone confirms this?
