Kansas? Anything interesting to see over in Kansas?
That depends on what you like to see. There isn't anything but plains and rolling hills to see from the highway.
If you stop at one end can you see through to the other side of the state?
You can see about three quarters of the way, the last quarter of the Eastern part isn't so flat. :azn:
Anyway, the question about Kansas did cross my mind and google didn't yield much...the sunflower state? come on! you can do better than that...
What's bad about that? I'm from the Big Sky State (Montana) and live in the Low Country (South Carolina).

I dinged 70

yay hooray, woohoo, enjoy the neglect llane

edit - yes its Winona
Congrats on the level.

There have been several occasions the last two weeks where I wished I could play either of those games but didn't have a way to do it. I should be home in the next couple of days, so it's all good.

You're...still driving?
No, I stopped in Kansas remember? It's less than a day and a half drive home from here, so I should be back Monday evening. It is a little later than I had planned, but I've enjoyed not being at either "home," so I stayed an extra day. :cloud9:

how many hours did that take? if you were playing diablo what level would be comparable?

i think winona may be a thief...i used to have a hat just like her's...if you ever see her out and about with that cap on ash, knock it off her head and look inside...my name is written inside on a tag.

Going from 1-70 in WoW?

For the average player ... a few months maybe. That's takes into consideration wok or school. Ash has been playing since (I think) early this year?

Maybe 55-60 in DII terms, but levelwise DII does not compare ... it's a whole different ball game.

Want a trial SD?

since we are posting accomplishments i'll post my new high score in solitaire (not that you care)

a high score of 9656 in 78 seconds.

Chocolate covered peanuts and apple juice taste slightly better together than skittles and orange juice.

Chewing gum is a good way to stay awake.

North Dakota has the most bugs I have ever seen when it's dark out, and it's disgusting to smear live ones that land on the windshield when trying to scrub off the dead ones.

South Dakota is one of the most boring states to drive through, and has about as much to see as the Western part of Kansas.

Colorado flooded two days after I drove through it.

Turns out the storm I nearly got caught in, and was able to get ahead of, was a tropical storm going over Kentuky.

Northwestern Montana is burning, and it doesn't seem the flames will be out any time soon.

A new fire started near the last "escape route" I had from there.

Gone for two weeks to come home to 23 new messages on the machine, when I don't usually get many calls.

Chicago and St. Paul/Minneapolis are the most dreaded places to drive through. Avoid them at all costs!!

On that note, Topeka wasn't very busy for being a capital city.

Well Elly and Rush both online ... see you all when the forum comes back online. :hide:

I warned you to go around!!
Not exactly. Besides, I didn't go that way on my way back so it's all good.
Did you egg Gorny's house while driving through Chicago like I asked you to? :hide:
That was probably along the part of the interstate I missed my exit for. That's okay though, I probably saved a couple of hours judging by how the traffic was backed up around there...
