+1 on the berzerker barb. Go with base dexterity, use warcry liberally, and own everything in sight. My berzerker barbarian dealt out 3-11k damage per swing, and had no troubles taking down hell at Players 8 setting.

Actually, I think you should try to get back in the studio and make a 4th album. Then you should tour in the summer and do a gig at Red Rocks in Denver. And give me front row tickets.

I am currently making a skellimancer, and it is doing fine in p8 Normal. As soon as I get another 3 to 4 skellies, I can clear the Chaos Sanctuary, and then on to Act 5. This is all being done with virtually no difficulty, and I don't believe I have died since Act 1. Nightmare will be harder, but I should be able to run Meph, albeit with very slow runs. I would advise one of these for your next char, since they are able to run the Pits quite easily, I am told. However, your choice of meteorb is a good one, also.
