Firstly, congratz on the big G. Nice one !
Still on /p 8, but getting noticably slower. I was getting tired when Diablo was to be done, so I changed down to /p 1. Was relatively easy, with the merc actually staying alive and the valk needing 2 or 3 recasts. Didn't drop much usefull except a shield with res all. It has slightly less resists than my current shield. This will change when I socket it and add a pdiamond. What it does have is +7 strength. Useful mod for this tourney.
I was still (!) using a crappy rare javelin with +1 Jav + Spear skills. I thought this next posting would be one whinging about that. Anyway, this is not the case. Either DeSeis or one of his cronies (not always easy to tell, you know ?) dropped a blue maiden javelin. I hoped that it might be +2 or something better than what I have, but wasn't expecting to see this. It's called a 'Valkyrie's Maiden Javelin of Vileness' and looks like this :

I didn't even know these things existed. It adds about 2000 extra poison damage, which is very useful.
Now for the bad bits. I am seriously out of stash space and have been leaving gear on the floor by the stash. Bad habit, I know. Anyway, it had to happen at some stage and yes, I went back to the stash, only to see that it had all disappeared. No big deal, but I've got no gems left and some res charms that have been needed in hell are also gone. No big loss, but my dol rune from NM hell forge is also gone. Such a useless charm anyway !

I now have the strength to up my Rogue's Bow, but (see above) didn't have the necessary items. I had ort + amn and just needed a PSapphire to complete the change. As luck would have it, I had one flawless sapphire and went looking for either a gem shrine, or 2 more to cube up. I found all sorts of gems etc, but not what I was looking for. Finally, I found a gem shrine, upped the flawless to perfect and zoomed back to town to up the bow. In went the ort, in went the amn, the psapphire and the bow. Clicked transmute and ..... nothing ?!? Multiple clicks didn't make any difference, so I checked the recipe and realised that the recipe I had was for upping rares, not uniques. Argghh !!
I think I'll have to run NM countess for a bit and see if I can get a sol and the correct pgem.

Oh..my..god!
I would have given my middle nut for such a weapon. Please be careful that you don't lose it by emptying the stack and doing a weapon switch. I lost two nice +2JS javelin packs that way

DX Avoidance 1 Base Rogue EncampmentKilled Baal on /p8 rofl, took about 1500 arrows. (yes, I wanted to see how many stacks it took) He dropped all crap but a thul rune.
Stash is FILLED with runes and gems, trying to get them all used so I wouldn't have to toss them!
I've noticed that most of you add +dex... which is something I DID NOT consider upon entering the tourney. I am however saving up my +str items

First of all two things, @AJK: congrats, @Moiselvus: I don't think it's too late to join.
I took Triggerhappy through act II without too much trouble. I went for the cube first and only afterwards to Radament. I did find quite a few set items, only one of which I did not mule off, Cathan's Seal which might come in handy when I find a javelin that I really want to use without life steal. As expected, plague javelin did easily cut down the critters, but beatles and unravelers where still very dangerous. I found quite a few runes by now, but iirc no possible runewords yet (steel only works in axes/swords/maces?). I found another strength charm (+3), greatly improving my chances to wear things, but I found no interesting stuff since. At the end I tried Duriel at players 8, which proved difficult but possible while drinking lots of potions. As expected his bugginess didn't drop anything to interesting, but the rare heavy boots he dropped were a bit better than the ones Triggerhappy was wearing.
Now I'm going to try and get the tables in order, but it might fail, my browser is being troublesome

Also, with 2 items from the set, there is a partial bonus of +10 to strength. I'm still using the armour and ring combo and it does help.

Ah nice, I did not check the partial set boni, and already muled the armour (which I found earlier than the ring) off since it did not give anything apart from high defense and I deemed the faster hit recovery on my armour more important. Oh well, I might find another one.

Made it to hell as well 
Went through most of NM on /p 8, switching down for the Ancients, or areas that I don't particularly like (such as Kurast Sewers).
Actually managed to clear Baal's minions on 8, even though it was at times awkward. Had to split them up and run around a lot. The second wave were particularly painful, as they kept resurrecting dolls that had previously spawned and I had no way to keep them down. Even tried Baal on /p 8, but gave up fairly quickly (once I realised that there was absolutely no way this was going to work).
Quit the game, made a new one on /p 1 and completed nightmare. Baal dropped a complete load of doo doo, which didn't even sell for anything decent.
Also did cows, hoping for some runes, or maybe the odd useful item or two, but squat. One rune dropped (an eld) and no rares (apart from 1 from the cow king) dropped, so I guess that was a little disappointing.
Looking forward to seeing what hell has to offer ...

I got a bit further as well, but much less than I wanted due to the game behaving odd. I'd switched back to windows since I had trouble in linux playing full screen. The game did have a lot of glitches in windows as well, but today it got dangerous, the mousecursor just froze for a second or so every so often causing a few NDE's. I thought that it might be that my trackball was dying, and tried with a mouse only to get the same effects, so I switched back to linux where I had no trouble when playing in windowed mode. I did get another NDE though in the flayer dungeon, a shaman (not the witch docter) frying me from full to about 1 in no time, I did survive however and a red potion (I pressed more or less randomly in the middle and it turned out red, not purple (I have 1,2 red, 3 full purple, 4 blue)) quickly put my bulb back to something normal. This was after already having had a near NDE in either the marsh (it was one of those maps) or one of the jungles due to poisoning causing an empty red bulb and seeing a flayer (/fetish/soul killer), that surprisingly survived my plague javelin, running towards me.
In the end I found the waypoint in lower kurast after clearing nearly the entire area looking for it and called it a day, not before discovering three superchests right next to the waypoint, so I might get into cheese mode a bit. So far I opened them only once, and did find a tir rune which enabled me to make the eth rune I was missing for stealth, now I only need to find a two socket grey armour with low strength requirement. This of course in addition to a lot of money in the form of blue and yellow equipment to fuel my gambling addiction.
Although I did not have an NDE from them, the most dangerous monsters I encountered so far where doom apes, due to one hit by them halving my bulb, them not being very visible and not too slow either, if two of them hit before I notice them it will be deeds.

DX Avoidance 1 Base Rogue EncampmentSorry for double posting, but an update is in order. I did get through act III alive. It took ages thanks to having to try a different setting after every waypoint to see if I could get the game running smoothly (failure so far), but I did not get many NDE's. The red bulb often got dangerously empty though. Meph was done lopping plague javelins over the moat and dropped something very nice, Sander's boots, beside an Ichorsting and the Angelic Mantle. The whole act was done at players 8, and Meph did take ages as expected. I am now wondering whether first to pump plague javelin further, to work on lightning fury, or to work on valkyrie. I might just copycat the Peace trick though, although I've yet to find a single one of those runes, still that should be doable in nightmare, supposing I get that far.
Edit: I don't seem to manage to get "Fortress" to appear on the same line as the rest of my entry in the table.
