wow hacks or skill?

hi guys, just wanted to say its my first time here even though I have been a lurker for a long time :P

I recently came from europe SCCL to east since I followed my friends, ihave levelled an 86 paladin with waht I think is o.k. gear. yesterday a me and a few of my friends were in a duel game against a few high levels, names were LOL-harSh, leave-naked, cained and i forgot the barbs name. i beleive all of them were over level 90 so i did expect them to beat us but not...BEAT us to death!!!

they were all really wierd how they dueled, the necromancer was hitting us with invisible bone spirits, and noone in my party seemed to be able to hit the 2 paladins, not to mention they had VERY fast fcr when neither of them were using a shard(seemed faster then that cast-rate-cheat cheat people use). i also thinkg everyone in the party was potting but im not sure. the necromancer always tpd very fast whenever anyone got close to hitting him, but the 2 paladins always killed us when they werent even on the map ! we couldnt kill anyone in their party yet they were killing us when we were naked

i ask, did thes people just have a LOT more skill then they should? or does east have even more hacks then europe?

paladins clag. necro maybe threw out enough spears that your side of the comp couldnt see it anymore. i remember i used to chant a char using an rclaw and would shoot my arrows at the bridge and after a while people wouldnt see the explosions anymore and would step out and die. LOL.

but 90% of the time they use hacks. specially tpd.

I just learned of the picking-up-items hack the other day
here I just thought I was out of shape on grabbing the loot on cs runs

hard to exp/mf at the same time now, aside for 2/8 etc
i wish mother nature gave these men bigger *****, they wouldn't have to ruin our games then

Reading your post, I know exactly what has happened and how its been done. Seeing that 95% of the posts in this thread have been edited I'll try to be vague when I mention the cheats used.

The paladins, they used charge and vigor at once to throw off your computer and blizzards servers. Often called "Clagging" "Synching" and "Syncronizing" on UsWest, this skill is used on all servers. Yes it is a skill, nothing extra is needed then two basic paladin skills. Now about the casting rate part, they are modded. It's like god mode but they can still die, killing them is the best part! I'm not gonna go into any more details about what the paladins used.

The necromancer, you mentioned invisible bone spears? That is a tall tail sign of a hacker, did you notice if his bone spears went through objects at all? I know of nec's using this hack in Necro vs Necro duels, the invisible spears fly right through bone walls not doing any damage to the wall but still hitting the target player. More often then not if they are using hacks they are also using mods.

There's a script which is common on hardcore (but what scripts aren't common there :undecided:) which, as soon as someone targets a player, that player will instantly, with script-speed, put up a TP and go to town. It's designed to make them invincible, if you can't target them//click their name, they think you can't kill them.

Having dueled far too many script kiddies on hardcore who use it, I can tell you it CAN be beat. What you've got to do is make your attack hit them without actually clicking them. It's easy enough to do if you use Area of Effect attacks or ones that track (GA or BS), just fire them near the target and they'll hit him anyway. It's a little trickier with melee attacks, but they never see it coming. You need to get right on top of them (charge on a paladin, or if it's available to you, teleport). Once you're right on top of them, don't click their name, but shift+click in their direction. Your character will do the attack, and if you're within range, will hit the script kiddie. If you manage to get on top of them, and shift+click your attack within range, you don't ever have to click them, so their script won't kick in and send them to town.

Hope that explanation makes sense. It's a bit of a pain dueling them, but it's very satisfying to kill them (especially on hardcore :wink3:), the cheaters think they're invincible, it's fun to show them otherwise.

lol.. welcome to classic east ladder duels. you're dealing with players that use breakpoint hacks, auto tp, auto heal, and just about every public hack that's known. if you plan to duel legit in these games i can honestly say you'll have no chance.

funny thing is one of those players you mentioned told me that europe is more hack infested than east. I guess they're also good at lying rofl. maybe i should give europe a try.

Europe is less hacked, since on classic, there's an elite group of people, who kind of ''control'' classic. If they don't like you, you will have a bad time, especially on hardcore^^
It's a big advantage for legit players though, there are still a lot hackers/cheaters though, but it's not enough to stop playing (legit).

Only down point, is the fact that there are a few act 5 users, which makes lvling unattractive.
