Would putting a Shael in my Stormshield make any difference?

Would putting a Shael in my Stormshield make any real difference in blocking speed or would it be best putting a Ber inside it instead?

Re: Would putting a Shael in my Stormshield make any difference?

It'll bump the blocking frame up to 6(?) IIRC.

It's not a huge difference, just a matter of preference.

Re: Would putting a Shael in my Stormshield make any difference?

Would it make me survive any longer in melee combat? I have 90 FHR too.

If not I will just Ber my Stormshield instead.

Re: Would putting a Shael in my Stormshield make any difference?

I don't personally notice a huge difference between either option so it's still either or.

Re: Would putting a Shael in my Stormshield make any difference?

For a werebear the drop from eight to seven frame blocking can be a nice little bump (this is for a fireclaws druid right?), however a ber also allows for a lot of flexibility with your belt (a ber in the Stormshield + the pdr from Enigma tops off your pdr); you can use an Arachnid Mesh for the lift/damage, Thundergod's for the absorb, Hsaru's belt + boots for ar.

If nothing else, another Stormshield and a shael should be relatively cheap, you could always try both setups and see which you like better.

Re: Would putting a Shael in my Stormshield make any difference?

In melee vs Melee combat, block rate really is most important so I'd try to get best possible. Never hurts to have both. If needed, a GA

What build is this btw? That really makes a big diff

FHR is really only important vs fast smite, fireball, spirits, hammers, icebolts. Things that cant be blocked

its worth having a shaeled ss on every druid ... all my druids come issued with a standard shael'ed ss + 1 or more specialty ss's.
