Wind Druid MFer?

I currently am using my lvl 89 Overlord for pit, meph, andy runs, but i just built a wind druid and love him. He's easily the most enjoyable build i've tried.

For those of you who are experienced wind Druids - How does this build work for mf? I particularly enjoy pit runs. The 2 problems i see for this are 1 - cold immunes in pit and 2 - tight spaces. Is this still feasible?

Im not really experienced in mf the pit with my wind druid, but i think you are right when you say tight spaces. Cold immunes in a hallway would be really tough to get. He's really good for andy though :-D
 
They do excellent as mf'ers even in the pit. I personally think they are the best overall mfer .... and i have gotten some others to agree. Their massive spamable physical tornado damge that req. no ar is just to insane and easy to aim (if you know what your doing) that all others skills bow down to it in solo mfing. However once you start trying to do 8 player pub mf's other more powerful builds over take wind durids in their effectiveness.

I havent noticed tight spaces to be a problem in the pit yet.

 
I've been doing a lot of pit runs with mine...no problems in the pit.

However, I'm not fond of meph or pindle. It seems that the pillars and other obstructions get in the way of my tornado.
 
Thx for input guys. Now i need some input on mf gear that would work for this build. Please advise:

Shako (Topazd)
Skulders (Topazd)
ARach Mesh
Wizspike/Earthshaker - on weapon switch
Wall of lidless
War Travs
Chance Guards
Dual Nagel Rings
+3 elem ammy
gheeds fortune
7 mf sc
a few +elem tree skill gc

How does this look assuming i'm not rich enough for enigma, soj, etc. I have all this gear is the part of the beauty here lol.

I've got decent fast cast from wiz spike, arach, and lidless. I've got good mf from shako, skulds, war travs, chancies and charms. Decent + skills from arach, shako, charms, skulds, ammy.

Any suggestions on better gear options that balance out mf and dmg potential?

almost exactly like my set up, cept i use hoto and a mf druid skll ammy.
i use him exclusively in the pit, went from lvl 81-87 in the pit only.
only time i die is if my sage dies and champion or boss archers are around...
but the cold imunes are no biggie, the wirlwind cuts through anything down there no prob
found some sweet steelrends and eth warshrikes with him last night

I love running my Windy Druid on Diablo runs -- a little bit slower than pit runs but with 3 super unique drops and a boss drop, I never die on 1-player (but as stated before, much tougher in player 8). Also the only PIs there are the bosses (and I have NEVER found a PI, CI boss on a D run) My equipment is similar:

Jalal's w/ perfect topaz
Skullders w/ perfect topaz
Magic ammy +1 druid skills +24% MF
wizspike, rhyme trolls nest
teleport staff on switch
rare gloves w/ 25% mf and other mods
rare boots with 25% and other mods
2x nagel
upgraded goldwrap.

I have plenty of killing power, super resists

here's the setup I use

Ptopaz Shako
Enigma
29 nagel
28 nagel
arach mesh
hoto (istist baba switch)
lidless (rhyme luna switch)
war travs
chancies
+3 elemental ammy

I do switch up some stuff for speed sometimes, but in general, thats what I use for pit runs
