will 2 d2x keys allow 2 playable accts if using same d2key?

Hi all,

I want to get back into D2 again along with my brother. We have 1 copy of D2 and D2x. Will buying another copy of D2x be sufficient to play on bnet together or do I need to buy another copy of D2 classic as well?
