Wich weapon for my crescent moon?

Need a decent weapon for my zerkerbaba, and crescent moon seemed like a fine start. cant afford any higher runes atm. So what weapon should i make it in? got a 3sock cryptic sword ready right now. Or should i try getting a 3s phase blade? or is there better options? like cb so i could switch to a 2h if there would be any need for it. Will be using ss too.

You can get a better Berserking weapon for the price of that Um rune you will spend.

I'll give you some Comprehensive Damage Quotient values based on damage per swing statitics and all applicable modifiers. The higher the number, the better. More % enhanced damage from skills will multiply against this number, making the difference HUGE. A Collossal Sword "Crescent Moon" has 1918.5 1-handed and 3637 2-handed.

Based on 1000% skill ed and 150 strength, I list these weapons as CHEAPER and BETTER than a Crescent Moon for a Berserk Barb.

Swords 1 handed: Headstriker 2656, Doombringer 2518.5, Flamebellow 2300, Azurewrath 2280.5, Collossal Sword: "Honor" 2101.5
Frostwind 2049, Djinn Slayer 1961

Swords 2 handed: Doombringer 4175, Flamebellow 4090.5, "Honor" Collossal Sword 3858.

Axes 1 handed: Razor's Edge 2765, Rune Master(unsocketed lol) 2287, "Honor" Ettin Axe 2157.5, Cranebeak 2103, "Crescent Moon" Ettin Axe 1974.5

Axes 2 Handed: Hellslayer 4859, Ethereal Edge 4746, Executioner's Justice 4481, Messerschmidt's Reaver 4291.5, "Honor" Decapitator 3944.5, "Crescent Moon" Decapitator 3712.5

I could go on forever with an analysis, but just looking at those I would try to get either a Doombringer (for 1 or 2 handed ownage) or a Razor's Edge/Hellslayer. Either of these combos should cost you less than your Um rune you would use on your "crescent moon".

Interestingly, "honor" is a powerful weapon for so cheap due to the Deadly Strike %.

Mal is only one rune higher than Um, and with Mal you could make 'Oath' (most common weapon to make it in is an ethereal Balrog Blade). Eth 'Oath' BB blows all of those other options out of the water.

I agree this is an awesome weapon if you can fork out Shael Pul Mal Lum. Not only does it hit hard, but it's also fast.

A Balrog Blade is more common, but a Collossal Sword is till a tiny bit more powerful. Basically a balrog has better resale value because it is fast enough for whirlwind.

I would consider this an endgame weapon, at least until this ladder season is so duped that HR's = pgems again.
