What makes your gear invisible?

What makes your gear invisible?

Ive been getting different answers so Im looking to see if anyone can establish the correct reasons for why the gear sometimes are invisible. Some say its because of dex/str from other gear used to equip a certain itam and some says its becasue of the +stats provided by anni. So what is it? :rolleyes:

as far as I know yes. typically happens when you have to put items on so that you can equip other items.

Example: you have to equip your gloves in order to equip your armor. You will be able to see everything on your char, but from somebody elses comp, it will look like your char is not wearing any armor.
 
kk thanks, just needed to clarify there

also, i just learned something. i was playing with my summoner and just got to level 65 to equip my enigma but didnt have enough str (i didnt have maras yet) and i was counting on that +5, so i just used a +str ring. then i put my marrows on also since i was using the str from enigma to wear that. then, just for fun i took the ring off and both items stayed there. then i put the ring back on since i was afraid of popping or something else bad.

I'm pretty sure that only with charm str, will your gear be invisible to others. +Str from anything other charms will not. I may be mistaken.

I think thats the case too. My sorc used waterswalks to equip her hoto but my friend said it was visbile while his werent and he used trap skillers with dex to equip his.
