Was that charm dropped by Nihl or his minion?

I understand grand and small charms dropped by either Nihlathak
or Baal are sought after by rerollers due to the highest possible mods.

I frequently see "Baal GC" in trade lists, and I'm wondering how to determine if a charm was actually dropped by Nihl or Baal if I didn't see it happen...Or for that matter...sometimes there's a grand charm in the pile of lewt after killing nihlathak and I'm unsure if he dropped it or a minion of his.

I assume there is no in-game method other than 'trust' or seeing it happen.
Is there a 3rd party program that does this job?

I play USW ladder.
Thanks in advance!

Baal is the highest possible for rerolling.

Third party program.. no sorry.

None that you can ask for here...

Those that can are also at the risk of giving you a trojan/virus/keylogger for your troubles.

there is no legit way to find out...the only way to tell is to roll it until it spawns with the suffix "of vita" between 41-45.

If you are not sure, consider it dropped by a minion. Even if you are mostly sure, the odds still aren't good.

That being said, there's nothing wrong with rolling a <41 GC.

But you have to do a couple of rolls to get that affix. I normally don't keep GCs found at Nihlathak, except it spawns with 41+ life.

In single player you can check item levels with ATMA. Nihlathak's level is 95.

I would suggest, if you really want to get the charms from Nilhathak that you hold down Alt when you are killing him. I only keep the Nilhathak charms that I see fall from him with my own eyes.
