Vengeance Sorceress ?

I was thinking and since i coudn't find it in the guide list…
do you think a Vengeance Sorc Would work out xD?

just do Kingslayer

skill setup would be

All 3 masteries, Frozen Armor or Shiver Armor and Enchant… What do you think?

the mechanics of vengeance are simply not suited for an enchanter build.

what vengeance does is it takes the base physical damage of your weapon, multiplies it by the % modifier and creates elemental damage out of it.

the additional elemental damage vengeance gives does not scale at all with any of your other gear (unless you happen to have max damage gear). it does not scale with your strength or non-weapon %ED either.

its always the % mod times the base damage of your weapon.... your weapon being kingslayer. a kingslayer phase blade would be about 120 damage... assuming +5 all skills (only all skills, not sorc skills matter for this), for level 6 vengeance, you'll have 100% damage of each element... 100% of 120...

in otherwords, all vengeance does is add 120 fire damage, 120 frost damage and 120 light damage to your attack. that's all it does. it doesn't multiply with enchant, it doesn't multiply with your other lightning damage. I think it does multiply with light/fire mastery but who cares its only 120 damage. really, you'd do more damage meleeing with a freaking gimmershred than a kingslayer...(although the kingslayer, admittedly, would swing faster)

even after the 120 damage is multiplied by the light mastery/fire mastery bonus it's still pathetically low. much better to use zeal with double dream, you'll do way more damage than with vengeance.

Works fine. The trick is to not put Kingslayer in a Phase Blade, but in something like a Feral Axe.

What I did was max Enchant (with Warmth and FM), LM and dump the rest in CM. 1 point in Teleport and Static too of course.

Yeah sure Dual Dreams will be faster, but that's not the point of making a Vengeance sorc.

Trying to make alternative builds, not just going with the stream but being creative(it makes me feel good, lolz :D).

i wish they could make infinity into 1 hand weapon, dual dream + infinity with massive ias + in bear form = WIN

Well then, an Immortal Queen is fun and will work better than a vengeance sorceress.

Four or five part IK set (armor is optional), enchant and synergy, LM, FM, one point cold mastery and enjoy.

I think mine reached level 86 or so. Heaps of fun anyway!

I've played both, and I didn't find that much difference between them. The advantage of a Vengeance sorc is that you are more free in gear choices.

Isn't it better as a vengeance sorc to max enchant, fire mastery and lightning mastery and put 1 into cold mastery, and then max lightning storm? With rest into warmth

you've maxed lightning mastery anyway, and have some points to spare.

The best axe would probably be a silver-edged axe.

My preffered high-end setup would probably be:

20 enchant, fire mastery, lightning mastery and thunderstorm
1 in shiver armor, cold mastery, static, teleport and possibly energy shield
rest in warmth

Kingslayer silver-edged axe
Andy's visage with an ias jewel
Highlord's
Nosferatu's
Sigons boots and gloves
Ravenfrost
BK's
CoH

This gives you max attack speed, quite alot of damage, +6 skills without counting charms, loads of leech, enough lightning resist (although lacking fire resist) and low frw%.

Merc:
holy freeze

Weapon: Infinity
Armor: Guardian Angel
Helm: Andy's
