how do u upgrade items in cube? i've looked around for the recipe but couldnt find unless i overlooked it. also, wuts good to upgr?

That would be one of them.

Most items in the game are awesome to upgrade. Especially class spefic uniques.

would a wolfhowl be a good candidate to upgrade? so wut does upping do? does it only upgrade the defense or stats as well?

Wolfhowl is already an elite item, so you can't upgrade it any higher.

Upping an item just ups it's base item to the next level, increasing defense/damage and requirements.

how come some peopel wear Up'd gores and such?

Because they give more defense than regular ones.

all items are set in classes;normal, elite and exceptional u can upgrade item that are in normal and elite but not exceptional items cuz they are already supperior to their normal and elite countaparts, the reason ppl ugrade items like gores or arreat helms beacuse they are elite items also upgrading them gives u the better defence on the armour and better dmg on a weapon
