Top 5 bows

Could ppl give their opinion on the top 5 bows ranked in order. I have no exp with them but here is what i have heard.

1. Windforce
2. Breath of the dying
3. Eaglehorn
4. WWS
5. GSA

Lets hear what u all have to say. The best bows i have found in sp are wws, magerath, skystrike, and a buriza

It depends whether we're fighting monsters or players... ;[ I'd put GSA over everything else PvM but I doubt I'd even place it Top 5 for a dueling bow. Buriza is also a prime bow for a cold 'Zon (built-in high cold damage, full pierce), but overall it's just too slow (despite its whopping IAS) and the Dex boost gained is sort of lost in having to boost that Str higher than normal anyway just to use it (especially upped, hoho). Widowmaker has its niche, but it's for other classes to flush out tough-to-target opponents in PvP or to have some fun. It's not a 'Zon bow; they can already use their own Guided Arrow, and the bow is just so plain outside of that mod. Kuko is a good bow for a ranged Enchantress or a Fire 'Zon, but it can't do much else because its ED% is weak and lacks IAS. Etc. etc. Anyway...

PvM:
1) Goldstrike Arch

3) 'Hand of Justice' Matriarchal Bow
4) 'Silence' Crusader Bow
5) Windforce


PvP:
1) the godliest of godly rare +3 Matriarchal
2) 'Breath of the Dying' Crusader Bow
2) Windforce
4) 'Hand of Justice' Matriarchal Bow
5) Cruel Matriarchal (+3) of Evisceration [2 sockets]

It depends maybe also a bit on your build. In which case I would place Kuko Shakaku in there somewhere, I think I personally prefer it over GSA....

Are you looking for the perfect bows out of anything available or are you looking for bows that you can realistically obtain in your lifetime.

Like you, I have never played with a BotD, but 2 things seem to speak against it: ZOD and the 50% chance to cast PN. Sounds like the granddaddy of lagbows to me :lol:

Is a GSA really that good? What if u put a ignores target defense rune into a uwws say. How would that stack up. I play pvm and am trying to figure out what bow i can find on my own realistically and use as an endgamer.

ITD works best with monsters at your own level and I don't think on champions and bosses, IIRC. But the ITD rune is a JAH, and if you find a JAH, you can afford all kind of godly items in trades

If you have AR issues, Lavagout are a real cheap way to help a bit.

GSA is quite good, but it is a (10) bow, so one of the slower bows...and whenever the FoH animation triggers, your attack button turns red (as in you cannot attack) as the spell delay kicks in. Which can be annoying.

det, I had heard that the FoH cast delay doesn't stop you in mid-strafe anymore. Is that correct? That was a reason why I never put GSA on my top list when 1.10 came out.

im pretty sure it doesnt stop you mid strafe. However it could stop you from casting another strafe. Overall, it really isnt a big deal you can still get a good atk speed.
