tiger strike q?

so i looked around and didnt see the ans
so thought id ask

does the +damage% on tiger strike work on the +damage from greif?


ok still cant find anything

but was looking at the german speed calc
and useing a phaseblade to get an 8 fpa you need 54% IAS but with a slvl 1 BoS you only need 19%IAS...
and a slvl 1 BoS only gives 21% IAS... wtf??

You mean wielding a Grief, and using TS? It will apply if you use Normal Attack as a finisher, since you don't have 2x claws for Dclaw, and Grief doesn't apply to any kicks.

But if you use Normal, it'll work just like if you were usually swinging a Grief, except TS is boosting how much ED% you have.

And BoS adds something called "EIAS"--Effective IAS. The game uses the IAS on your gear, plugs it into a formula and gets the EIAS

Formula:

EIAS --> IAS conversion formula:
EIAS = (120*IAS)/(120+IAS)

You take the WSM of your weapon (found on the arreat summit. For a PB, the -30), turn it negative (-30 -> 30) and add that value to the EIAS. Also, you add any skill speed, since that counts as EIAS. In BoS's case, that 21%.

I'll show you what I mean

Taken from the IAS Tables:

OK, 54% IAS, on a PB, with level 1 BoS (21% EIAS)

EIAS = (120*IAS)/(120+IAS)
EIAS = (120*54)/(120+54)
EIAS = (6480)/(174)
EIAS = 37

37 - (-30) = 67

67 + 21 = 88

So, the 67 from just IAS and weapon, it was above the 8 frame (hits the BP), but below the 70. So, you attack at 8 frames.

Add the level 1 BoS, you acheive 7 frames.

iam a bit confused..
so say a slvl 1 TS with 3 charges will boost the +400 (perf greif) damage
makeing it 400x3=1200 ??

Basically, yes. Grief's + damage gets boosted by ed%, and TS adds a ton.
