The worst fire shrine position

Not long ago, I went back to D2 (only one person from here knew it).

I started a HC necromancer (fishy), for best using of my 1337 white RW.

He experienced first NDE, and it was a god damn fire shrine at the worst position. If wasn't he is fishy, he will be "deed".

Fire shrine at the only entry to find Meph, where you engage bettle, and it was "hiden" by the shadow of the "building support" (can't see it unless you enable the map ...). It got to be one of the worst position for a HC char.

What was your experience of the worst fire shrine?

I do know that feeling
I was in the Lost City hunting Dark Elder. I walked around a corner and got hit by two of them. That would have been the closest I have been to "deeds" with this character. Now that would be embarrassing

The friends I MP with like to hit them for fun. I think they like to hear me swear at them...

The Meph map I play seems to have a 50% chance of spawning a shrine right next to meph. I've had it spawn fire shrine a few times now. Sure speeds up the run. I certainly didn't think a fire shrine could hurt the superuniques but there you go...

Suppose that doesn't qualify as the worst fire shrine placement, does it?

Well, this one time, as I ran from meph having triggered the fire shrine, I teleported right next to one of those spirits, just as mephs frozen orb hit me...

I don't play HC, but a buddy of mine and I were playing around, all my minions were poisoned and we were in the middle of a fight. He triggers one of those and kills 9 out of 10 of my skellies, I promtly TP'd out and un-allied with him to teach him he is stupid . Then he punched me, it hurt...
