The perfect gear for a Bowazon?

The perfect gear for a Bowazon?

To avoid arguments the build is Guided Arrow and Multi using an Act 2 nightmare merc.

The only thing I am really sure of so far is a Faith and Fortitude. What do you think?

There isn't a perfect setup, we don't even know if this is pvp or pvm and - if this is pvp - I really don't think you have read the guides because you would have added atleast ias knockback gloves with other sick mods.

That what I think.

Well thanks for asking mr friendly. Is it not possible to be sucessful at both pvm and pvp? Surely it would not require you to swap too much gear. I intend to do PvP a reasonable amount and as a result am maxing out Guided arrow and putting 10 points in Multi for Pvm.

I just wanted peoples opionions on what gear to get. I have had many amas in the past so I'm sure I could make a reasonably good list including your lovely gloves but I wanted to hear what others thought as this is a forum for exchanging views..

This my goal for gear anyhow...but can dual-leech rings still spawn? Ideally I'd have a dual leech ring on one slot, and a carrion wind on the other. And then cham my helmet.

But if dual leech rings can't spawn, I'd go with a dual leech helmet (probably vampgaze), carrion wind, and a ravenfrost.

For packs of souls, I always carry a tgods.

First, you can't be great at both with bowazon. There are other classes that can, though bowazon not. You will always give out other stats and skill for pvm and pvp. If you want to take you pvp amazon in pvm, you will do somewhat decent, though a true pvm amazon will be more effective.

If you want gear opinions, the guides are a perfect place to start. They have a solid base gear choice and offer some other options you can experiment with. That's the only way to get a setup that is perfect for you. Experiment.
If you still think there are option you haven't discovered, you can have a look at the summit for other gear option or you can try to find some of the non-guide topics in this forum discussing this subject.


P.S. yes this forum is for exchanging views, though should people list the same gear again they already listed lots of times before?
Asking for general "what should I do" isn't what this forum is about - not I my view atleast, though who am I. Almost all of those general guidances are in the guides. If you then still have question about things that aren't in the guides, or specific questions about gear *changes*, I'd be glad to help you.

Thanks, I didn't mean to have a go. On my last amazon I used the Bowazon pvp guide from this site. Wanted to see how far other peopls views deviated really. Thinking about it does the typical pvp gear have any mana leach? as thats extremly important for pvm. I'll go check..

This is the build I'm thinking:

Helm: 3 Socket, +Ed +AS +Life?
Amu: Cats Eye
Body: Perf Fort (what armour is best? I can't remember)
Bow: Perf Faith (I'm guessing if it is perf maybe GMB over Matri? what do you think?)
Belt: Nosferatu's Coil
Rings1: Raven Frost
Ring2: Unsure? Help?
Gloves: Rare, +2 skill IAS and knockback +anything else they happen to have
Boots: Gore Riders

Anything you guys think could be improved there? I would be interested to here what you think over Matri Vs GMB (last time I had Matri) and the 2nd ring slot

Helm: 3 socket helm with base life/dex/strength/whatever socketed with 3 40/15 jewels
Bow: GMB
Ring 2: Dual Leech ring with dex/res
Gloves: Rares can't have kb. Craft them yourself

Charms: Max damage charms (10 max gcs, 8 max lcs, 3 max scs), torch, anni

leech doesnt work that well in pvp, you should just go double raven frosts for the added dmg. i would also go wartravelers over gores since zons already have very high critical strike. for perfect gear, just look at what sweetalmonds posted, its pretty much right on.

that's wrong. Raven only adds 20 dex. A good craft can give you 25 str and 15 dex, for a total of 40 stat points. And that is without mentioning possible life that might safe you points in vitality. As a bonus, you get leech - leech is good with summons IIRC, leech of a bear is possible - or res or...

if you build ur stats around a 25/15 dex ring (provided that you have one...) then you lose the option of switching out a ravens for wisp/dwarf. since you have to maintain ias, pretty much only the boots/charms are swappable. need 1 raven for the cbf mod, and you really need that 2nd ring to be open for flexibility. so even if you do happen to have a 25/15, i would still argue that building stats around it is not worth it.

I prefer to have OW somewhere though and gores is a good source of that......not to mention a bit more frw as well.....

well if you're pubbing a bowa isn't the right character for you.....and if you aren't pubbing than sorb is usually BM.....
