The Extreme Secret Cow Level

I recently heard from my friend that their is a unique version of the Wirt's Leg and that it is extremely rare(no kidding, i never heard of it before). Anyway, he also mentioned that in the ultimate cow level, the cows are extremely difficult, however, as a reward, they have very very good drops (he also mentioned a value possible from the items in the level of about 20-25hrs.)

The question is: Is this true? And if it is, can someone give me some hints of where and how (besides good mf) i can get my hands on the leg? I'll continue my research of it on google, and if i find something out, i'll deliver the info you guys (and girls:thumbup:).

btw, i just found out that you can imbue the leg (lol, i know ppl are going to say something like "No **** Sherlock. good job on the case", but just bare with me. i didn't know). as an outcome you get a rare wirts leg :cool:


 
Wait, I thought that was the other way around. Wasn't is supposed to be: Normal Cows-->Extreme Cows-->Secret Duck Level-->Pink Bunny Level

Maybe that's why I can never seem to get to the Bunny level.....learn something new every day.

And to help out the OP, the secret to the "Extreme Cows" is simple. Yes you can imbune the leg, definitely do that. Then you need to upgrade the leg using the Cube recipe, as it is currently a rare item. Once upgraded it's now unique and you use that with a Tome of Identity and a Vex rune to create the portal for the "Extreme Cows". Just make sure you are in Alkor's hut when doing this (That's Act III).

But apparently I've been doing the rest wrong, so someone else will have to fill you in on the rest.

lol, is this true are you guys making fun of me? lawl, pink bunny level is definitely bull**** but mursilis's recipe for it seems reasonable. i'll try that then

They're just pulling your leg. No such thing as an Extreme Cow Level.

Go into a private game with the password as your character name. Type /dnd (account name) (account password) and then tell me to whisper you.
That'll obviously open up (insert secret level) and every drop are the pants and wallet that you lost upon coming here.

lawl. im not that noob to type in the dnd thing. i got tricked once, it was like the 2 week of my experience on bnet. lawl. next time i logged on there was only one char left named "yourAnId_iot"

wow I feel foolish for actually believing some of the post until i finished reading the whole thing :P (pink bunny thing actually seems reasonable knowing blizzards sense of humor they made cows right lol ) , but one question may sound noobish what happens if u do imbue the leg? are there any bonuses? i never did that or know anyone who has done that and im just curious. I dunno much about cow level.

I gotta ask now...

Have you actually tried imbuing the leg and then upgrading it? If that actually worked I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I had an imbued pegleg on a macebarb back in 1.04 or so... I think he did about 100-300 dmg with it at 30-something. Killing Diablo with Wirt's leg was pretty funny.
