Tele lag.. how to stop it?

I'm ready to snap! This is my issue:

My necro/pally has 125 fcr, and every time I single click teleport I get a black fade.

If I Hold teleport I just stand in place 2 teles then travel the third. What can I do to stop this? I can't reduce my fcr, and I don't feel like timing the fade for max teleport speed.

Does this have something to do with your connection of PC specs? Maybe you should try lowering the quality.

Sounds more like laggy Internet connection on your side, or battle.net is lagging.

Stop teleporting!! Or, run a little between teles while there are no monsters in your area.

I revently installed D2 on my work laptop, and that solved all my tele problems. In the past, though I'd had Enigma for months, I never dared use it in dangerous areas such as Hell WSK. Now with a faster comp the lag issues are gone.

Old habits die hard though... I still hate teleporting, even though I know I can do so reasonably safe now.

i just can´t play without teleport.. it just anoyes me to walk... that is way i mostly play sorcs.. i only play other builds that have enigma

I had to build some toons around teleport... charges.

I don't wanna run when I don't need to, and I can't reinstall due to losing the LoD game case (aka, I can't find my own cd-key).

Might be the internet, but I get faster downling ability then my previous place.

I cannot play with lighting quality off, cuase nith is in the middle of a black X shadow, with him in the middle (veiwing from 1 step away from a torch cornor). When its on low or higher it lights him up, making hit targetable.

Hmmm, I think that there is program, that can check your cd-key from installed game files. I have used it once, with another game but if I remember right, it can show D2-keys too.

It name was something like Magical Jellybean keyfinder.

Regarding the teleport effect: It happens when the game server hasn't handled the first teleportation yet while you are already doing the second, so the second one is still based on the old position, causing a "2 forward, 1 backweard" effect. It's probably the ISP or you are downloading/uploading too much stuff while playing.

While being in a game, enter /fps and have a look at the ping value. I always activate it BTW. It's usually 60ms for me, but twice as much would be OK as well. If your ping is fine, it's server lag.
