Rune Word combos...

I'm a bit unfamiliar with the rune word combinations- are the combinations that are posted for v1.11 the only available combinations, or do all rune word combos from previous versions work as well?
 
They work too. The v1.11 runewords were new runewords released with that patch update that are only available in that version or later versions....so you couldn't make a v1.11 runeword if you were running an earlier version of D2, like pre v1.10 or v1.10. Some runewords also only work depending on where you make your character and play, like for example, ladder characters playing on battle net servers or single/open characters playing at home on their pc's. The original and v1.10 runewords all work in v1.11 providing your character can make them as some have class restrictions as well.
 
Also if you play single player you might want to install RWM mod which will allow you to use ladde ronly runewords on yuor single player version as well. The topic is stickied in the single player forum in case you would like to view it.
 
I believe 1.11 runewords were introduced to get rid of some of the duped runes in the game, and that is why they are so expensive. But, they do suck hardcore.
