Rerolling Rares?

Now that we're going to start getting high ilvl rares and high clvls will be more common, what are the implications for this hcube recipe?

6 Perfect Skulls + 1 Rare Item = 1 Random Low Quality Rare Item of the same type
You can use this formula to get another chance at a Rare Item of the same type. ilvl = int(.4 * clvl) + int(.4 * ilvl) Player level matters. This formula will not work on items larger than 3x2.

You will run out of PSkulls quickly

The formula reduces the ilvl with successive rolls, unless qlvl > ilvl. Then qlvl = ilvl.

Practically speaking you will be re-rolling higher qlvl items, then clvl doesn’t matter so much.

I think rerolling diadems is still the best use for P. Skulls.

Runic Talons only for me. But Diadems & high qlvl pelts are also a good choice. I don't see much else where your are either better crafting (gloves, belts, rings, amulets) or will be beaten by a RW or Unique.
