Recommended Armors for Duress

Dont go with a warpike. Also a greaterpoleaxe is the weapon you want. From looking at the 2 others.

an eth giant thresher because there's an eth thresher which does not get 6 sockets.
a sup archon plate, but thats probaly gonna cost you more then the duress runes.shaftstop said:

my first duress is in dusk shroud but its for my *******
the second is gonna be slapped in a boneweave armor for my barb :thumbsup:
Depends on what you want...
If Str is not a concern, try finding the highest defence Sacred Armour you can get. A perfect 15% superior Sacred with perfect defence mods would get above 2K+ defence, pretty high.
If Str/Wieght is a concern, pick any light armour (dusk, scarab, fleece, archon, hauberk) with over 500 defence. Should still get reasonable defence.
If looks are your think, pick any elite armour you want.

looks are all fine and dandy if you wanna hit on npcs in Rogue camp.
Right now my frenzy barb is wearing upp'd Shaft 1465 def.
Currently with that adn rest my gear (only 34 Bo/shout) i get 14k def.
Although right now Shaftstop is my only DR and biggest +life item.
My barb wears
Ik Gloves Boots and Belt for resists and 2 and 3 set piece bonuses +def +ar +2 combat skills and 25% MF along with 25% IAS (only item Isa right now *i know im slacking*)
Shaft w/ 28% ED Jewel and Perfect Arreats with 37% ED jewel
Sacrens Chance, Raven, and Carrion Wind for jewelry.
Along side the awesome mods Im in favor of the +resists i get from duress, hoping in loosing the ik belt grabbing a Verdungo or maybe goldwrap (and upping thay??) throughing on Lavagouts for ar (enchant)and 20 IAS and using War travs for boots.
With this all in mind im hoping i wont loose to much from my barb Lack of IAs has been a problem i've been meaning to get more but have had trouble finding thus i've lached on to Phase Blades ( dual ls's and now a rare cb 'shael'd' and LS) To make up for my lack of speed. I wanted highlords but I sufffered from little to no resists item wise other then Arreats/iks and the bit from jewelry, so I wanted to pick up Mara's eventually.
Which brought me to Duress, I love it >< Str isn't a huge problem, atleast until I ditch ik gloves.
The Wirefleece that i mentioned above. Should I wait for something better (with ikgloves and charms im 233str) Or give this a try Ums abit expensive for me right now so saving up to do Botd/Azurewrath combo
2xbotd = over kill to me, and i am thinking i might get more damage with B/A

Go with the highest defense you can find -- If I were you I would go for something with a base of over 520. With frenzy, you are going to be moving so fast anyway, that there really is no need to worry about whether an armor is light medium or heavy.

I am kinda picky about run/walk pen's from heavier armor regardless if im full frenzy mod it only lasts a few seconds its the rest of the time that worries me 
as I usually do baal runs as in... i run it, no mh no engima, no tele amulets or anything and i still reach throne room in about extremely fast I've impressed alot of ppl thus far doing it.
Once you've done enough runs solo or 8 player you'll notice things about monster AI behavoirs and mazes (dungeons) themselves which is really interesting. And you can run it better then most people. Its suriving thats hard but wizardspike + ga (if you got it) and tgods is all you really need to do it well
Anyway, Im not sure how to figure out what the enchanted defense might be on armor but Im thinking either Boneweave, WireFleece, balrog skin or Archon plate, right now i have the 476def Wirefleece still and will hold on to that until I get better. But its looking like I may use that for the 'Duress Armor'
PS, since I started ladder, i finally got my first character on ladder ranks on uswest hes ranked #195 although it ain't high, I decided to check for shits and giggles cus i was 91 and that was min level for barb ladder and poof there I was, next season i think ima try for top 100 lol...
