Question about the pit

What is the item level of the chest at the bottom of the pit.. I'm wondering if it is worth it to reroll charms from it.

As far as I know it's the same level as the rest of the area, which is 85. Not sure though.

It's worth it to reroll Pit GCs. You won't get the 45 life mod from Baal/Diablo/Nihlathak GCs, but I think you can get up to +40 life on a Pit GC.

I'm not sure if you're going for the chance to get a second mod or if you just want a good chance at rolling skiller's. I kept 4 GC's i found while questing through act 3 NM. Two came from the flayer jungle and two came from within the durance of hate level 2. I rolled one from each area 7 times exactly before each turned into a skiller. Both turned out duel moded, fire skiller w 7%fr/w and shadow skiller w/ GF. Not the best of skiller's in term's of mod's but skiller's none-the-less. Cheers! :thumbsup:

Pit chests aren't L85 which includes the superchest in level 2. They are just like the chests elsewhere in the vicinity which should have a level af around 70. I don't know details, but AFAIK the acts are is divided into an early part and a late part, each having the same chest levels. There is a guide to chests somewhere on these forums (try the single player forum) or in the internet.

I think the pit level 2 chest has a TC of 66.

Edit: yep stuff from that chest is ilvl 85. Not sure what TCs and stuff it can drop though.
