pvp mage summon necro skills question

Well I've got him all decked out with lots of expensive equipment like infinity, nigma, blah blah. Lets say i have 8 summon charms, a necro torch, and an anni. Should I go for bone wall for my remaining 20 points (to beef up bone armor more since bone prison is maxed), put them into skeleton warriors to add more targets around me, or some third option that's not occurring to me.

I'll assume he maxed mage, mastery, and lower res, and possibly revive at level 1 {possibly more for increased offense if he knows what to summon in a duel :D}.

Theres not much else you can really do to increase your summon damage, but you can aid them by throwing out some spells of your own. Spear comes to mind, since it is a fairly quick offensive attack, and with moderate +skills you can get some half *** damage out of there. Spirit might help if someone is running from you and you cant seem to catch them.

Also corpse explode would be greatly augmented by your lower resistance & mercenary's conviction, although using it in a duel can be tricky; its better suited for pk'ing in a pvm game ;).

About those revives;
~Carver shaman in act 5 hell {usually ice caves}, have a fiarly good ice blast.
~Slingers {arreat platue / fridged highlands i think} deal fire damage with their thrown java's
~vampires everywhere throw out fire balls when having to throw an attack at fast speeds {I've noticed they elect to throw fire balls instead of meteors or fire walls when teleporting with a necromancer}
~Tainted lighting balls can be quite painful, these can be easily found in the city of the damned and in some cold cellars in act 5.
~zakarum preists have lighting & blizzard, although the blizzard is a rareity. You can find these guys in nilithaks temple on the level with the way point about 50% of the time {every other game}, but collecting them is rare since you have to take out a horde of zealots just to get two preists.

edits; I've never really seen black souls hurt that much in a duel, mostly due to stacked lighting resistance on duelers. But for some reason, tainted still seem to pack a fairly good punch; they most likely have very high min damage.

well my skills are:

1 in all curses except dim vision, confuse, and attract(the prerequisites for lower resist)
only 1 in lower resist because it doesnt get much better when you already have alot to + skills
20 skele mastery
20 mages
1 in evertything up to revives and 1 in summon resist

last time I put points into bone spear it turned up completely useless

1 pnt into revives is enough id go for eather posion skills(takes 40 points to get a decent nova and will go along with your points in lower resists) or go with skeletons.

I was thinking of 1pts in gumby (clay golem) and with your +8skills that will bring him up to 1045hp in hell wich makes a good meat sheild for the bosses and gives him 49% slow effect ^_^ and with your decrept that is 1+8= 8.8sec durtion with a 50% slow effect (I think) that sould be enough to slow down even baal to a stand still :lol:

Hey man check it out. About 10 months ago I made a guide called Lich Lord 1.10 or something. Try searching for it. 99% of that guide is still relevant in 1.11.

For 20 points your best bet is 20 in Golem Mastery. After +skills, gumby will have over 20k life and an Iron Golem will have 10k life. My lich lord preferred a "mana golem" so I could endlessly teleport/corpse explode/ and summon 40+ revives (from 1 point invested in revive).

Stacked mages + teleport is just devastating PvP and PvM and this is one of the best chars I ever made, although easily one of the most expensive too.

Stacked magi are the only way I deal with wind druids or hammerdins. Just about anything you dont want to get near can be handled via magi.
