Prayer Synergy Question

Prayer gives, as most of you already know, healing synergy to both Cleansing and Meditation aura equal to the healing of prayer itself without mana costs. (rendering prayer a useless aura at later levels)

The question is: If a Paladin with maxed Prayer would be using Cleansing Aura and be wielding an Insight, would the healing be double?

i dont think so. i think that the healing is only applied to the aura u have on yourself not the one from an item. also it doesnt heal very much in the first place.

Yes.

Wrong. Auras from items get sinergy bonuses.

Yes Jacotaco, I have personally tested this theory with my own "Ambulancedin" and it has worked out quite nicely in pvp

Also have a Prayer merc trailing you, you'll have his Prayer (slvl 18 max i think), and your own prayer x2 all running at once.

hmm, question number 2 then... will a prayer merc using Insight get any synergy for his meditation?

yes, you'll receive the regen from the Prayer aura, and the Meditation aura's synergy, which results in twice the life regen. I use this setup on a PvM sorc of mine with great success.
