second post
is Legend Pictures' a well known/trusted site-company?

I ritualy visit that forum every day and never saw that post... thaought that was funny to see it here.. and if they make a Diablo or even a Warcraft movie, I'd definately pay to see it even without knowing anything about it, I'd just hope they would screw up as much as all the comic based movies that have been comming out.

warcraft movie (world of warcraft) has already been announced and is old new :P
but diablo....from Legend Pictures'....aren't they a movie studio?....leaked Diablo movie announcment by the company....suspiciously disapeared....

i think that sounds like a trustworthy rumor :). but i'll never get my hopes up.
heres some good advice: keep your expectations low, that way you'll never be dissapointed.

edit. your a game developer too? do you model/program(what lang?)/sound/2d art/etc.? i havent joined that forum yet, but me and my friends (me+2) are making a 3rd person shooter based off starcraft (starcraft:ghost replacement. but not uber blizzard quality :P)

michael jackson as the abyss knight or zombie.
will smith as the paladin

any1 else have any news/rumors about the diablo movie? or thoughts

Although that would be nice, I don't see why they would want to make a movie out of diablo. I mean, there are many games out there that are FAR more popular than diablo.

The guy who played Deckard Cain, Michael Gough is a real film actor, obviously he should play Cain in any movie.

He should be there when Will Smith and Michael Jackson face off, and they should all rap and have a dance-off.

ok.....you do realize Sean Connery is kinda who they had in mind when they created Deckard Cain waaaaayyyyyyyyy back in D1 days?

Colin Farrel as the necro, Vin D. as the barb, Chris Rock as the paladin.

@ Flaming Banana: man, for the sake of the quality of the movie and how much i love d2, i hope to every god or deity ever that it does indeed give me nightmares.

im kinda hoping that a diablo movie would be animated instead of using real life people. i dont really like fantasy movies with real-life actors (especially when the movie is made from a game!)

animated, either anime style or FF:AC (AKA: CINAMATIC style) would be cool. i really hope a D2 movie is made.
i say Will Smith as a pally. he's funny and can be really serious

/offtopic
OMFG...on the sci-fi channel, theres a show on right now called "cerberus" and in the intro credits, they used the DIABLO FONT!!!!
