Poofing Hotos

Ok, something very strange has happened to me the last 2 days..
1 Hoto 30 poofed yesterday though i wasnt logged then..
Today a hoto 37 poofed when i was mfing. I though i dropped it somewhere or something, but i checked all the places i had been at and didnt find it.
Though i had some luck these 2 days and found 3 Arachs.
Has this happened to someone else?

Btw the both hotos were selfmade..

If self-made the entire hoto shouldn't just poof. Although the vex was likely to be a dupe, unless blizzard ran an active ruststorm yesterday (I'm thinking they didn't), there is no reason for your hoto to poof. Either you are accidently switching/dropping the items off somewhere, you're mistaken, or you are being hacked and they don't like the rest of your gear.

EDIT: @adictal: No, they (a hacker) can't get on a particular character while you are playing them. All I know is, it shouldn't happen. The passive dupe checks no longer work once the rune is socketed and it requires an active ruststorm to be deleted. Even then, you should see it as an "ith" item first. Furthermore, an active ruststorm should be deleting your other runewords (as well as everyone else's) and any hacker that took his time to hack your account would probably take more than a hoto if you have other runewords. Unless the actually flails are dupes, it is likely to be some sort of user error.

And i think they would have taken more, got kinda good runewords and uniques

I would asume he was on the day before that and then today, which leaves the time in between (yesterday).
