Oh....those kids :)

My son (5years old) invited a friend to play....you know.. "My dad has 2 computers , shaking chairs and ...blblblblbaaah" ... his friend is about 7-8 yrs old and they played together along time....until....

(Note , my son cant read/write , his friend can...and darn fast too :) )

The older dude "scammed" of my son the Stormlash i gave to him to be "immortal" as a pure zealer (with many miss points :P ).....and i said " Hey ! he is 5 , he only knows "brown text" is good stuff...and i duel u for the storm" .... teh cocky little bstrd (well...he is a kid...i know.. ) said "Ok , but then i will use my PK Barb , but u cant use any high lvl dude..max 45" .... well well...okey !

I Joined with my Tezladin build not even close to be finished , but makes around 1,7k dmg and "pulse" of about 400 (Max block/resist though...and 600 life)....and killed him while running around :P ..... got my sons Storm back :) ...but his friend started to challange me again with high lvl dudes.....I promised him 2 of my acc's (well thy are non ladder anyway , but quiet "rich") if he could beat me......

He brings a lvl 61 Bone necro ...uh (using crap stuff...).....i úsed the same old "Sparky pally" .... killed him in about 6-7 pulses...while boneprisoned :P

Gave him the 2 acc's anyway ...i never play them anyways :)....and i thought him some matters...feels great ! :)

Your kid is 10 year ahead... I thought this game was 15+ year old OK! Maybe my version is different from yours.
Anyway, try tetris or puzzle bobble, even old nintendo/master system games. There are many emulators nowadays. Your kid will be happy with lower violence and you will be happy not seeing your Harlequins have been sold.
My 2$ on kid things...

Level 45 ownage = ^.^ *winner* *lol* *jig* What realm/ladder/core was this?
 
ahhh kids nowadays, when i was 5, i play with dirt and thought was the coolest thing ever.
 
I dont see Diablo especially violent , so therefore i let him play it....the news on TV is far more violent than seeing Mephisto squirting blood allover the place :)
 
as long as your kids realize it is fantasy then there is no harm in it, my kids want to play but I won't let them because we only have one compy and that would take time out of my D2 playing

lol!!! i would do the same, nasty little buggers dont enjoy as much as i would haha :lol:

I wouldn't let a child that age watch the news either, but I'll stop after that comment as you can raise your children how you please.
 
Age 5-7 is WAY too early for playing diablo2. I agree that the rating of 17+ for this game is excessive but an early age like your son is just ridiculous for a semi-violent game like diablo2.
 
It's a shame that ppl get ripped like that but do you think its vice to let your 5year old son play the game if he UNDERSTAND that he acctualy get ripped off ?
If he doesnt know it doesnt hurt, but if he is aware, then i think u should let him play singleplayer.
