new patch picture analysis thread

what if anything can we determine from the four pictures released here

location
monster
characters & equipment
auras and attacks used by characters and monsters
anything else that may look weird
 
1&2 take place in Tristram

3&4 are around a fiery pentagram that can occur in multiple dungeons in Act 1.

I don't see a necro in 3&4 but somebody is definitely using corpse explode either from charges or Lilith uses it.

yes i noticed the corpse explosion and asked in the main thread if anyone could see any evidence of a necro in the pictures...as far as i know there is no charge or proc with corpse explosion

Doesn t the assa have a trap type that explode corpses? there is an assa in that party if Im not wrong.

can we get a count and type of all the characters/mercs?
i am on a work computer and can't bring up the pics

edit i recall seeing another monster(winged) in the top of the lilith picture
 
4 chars, 4 mercs, all dead, even with salvation on
one of the char is Amped. By whom?
Who is firing those little red balls?
The ice arrow from zon don't seem to freeze lilith...

so no extra mercs?

this is pictures 3 and 4
i didn't notice what skill the zon was using

the red balls are from the extra monster top right of screen

Succubi or hell witches are in the screenies. Hence the blood spirits (red balls). I took a guess that it was the tower (fire pentagrams) but it could be the "sanctuary" that is being referred to.

There is a witch in the corner that is blasting them, those who use amp in the throne room.

Edit: those was called a blood star in D1.
 
There are 12 screenies, 5 udiablo, 7 lilith

My interpretation of the chinese text, which I'm quite sure. In every hell game, there is a lilith. She can be anywhere. The only way to find her is to search from den of evil to throne of destruction. You kill her, and there is a possibility that her will give you an item that no other monsters can drop. This way blizzard force you to play the game the old fashion way.

Remember I could be the first one who point this out....

nvm, I'd rather be the first one who get the goodies from lilith..

hmmm this d be too hard... it d take too much time to actually go through all maps in all levels in all acts in hell difficulty to find her. However making her as the cow s level d make more sense imho, once you ve finished all the quests in the game with a char then you can find her somewhere.

If you press the Next Screenshot button at the bottom right corner of the page you will see a few more not posted in the main page.

Edit: opsi writting fast at the office I didnt realize I was posting twice in a row... sry :)

when you click on one of the four, scroll down a lil' and it gives the option to view next screenshot. All-in-all it'll take you through 8 pics. One of the shots shows the barb, zon and pally fighting lillith and the sassy is standing in the distance. The sassy has a concentrate aura while the others have fanaticism.

Corpsemourn. But I doubt any of them have it on. :p
