need input about how to improve my avenger

well well i feel the need of input about how to further twink my avenger

so far he uses this at level 86

helm andariels visage sockeded with a jewel of fervor
ammy cresant moon (15% mana leech is nice)
armour guardian angel sockeded with a 15% res all jewel
belt t-gods
gloves draculas gasp
boots aldurs advance
weapon perfect lightsabre sockeded with amn
sheild herald of zakarum sockeded with pdiamond
ring1 raven frost
ring 2 is either natures peace or bk ring.


the only things i found that i might be able to change and still hold true to the char idea is his weapon 1 ring and his belt.

char idea is to hunt glooms and he does it with ease.

now for twinkage of weapon there is only one option for me and thats azurwrath.

and for the ring wisp projector to maintain the lightning absorb.

what i really need help with is what belt i should switch to

as i have no idea.


so please come up with some input about useful belts for a avenger.
 
i would suggest that you change to the 1.10 azurewrath if you've got it since its got more elemental dmg and magical as you have already said. For the belt i think u might change to string of ears for the leech and dmg reduction or u might change to 1.10 nosferatu's coil for the ias as well as the leech. The slow target attrib can be helpful too. For the rings i think u should keep raven frost and put in wisp as u said too. Also your items can depend on what skills u r maxing so...
 
The Thundergod's Vigor is good, Lonewolf, but if you are making a gloam hunter than you better get some damage reduce %. I wouls say Verdungo's Hearty Cord with the extra vitality and damage reduce by x% would be great. Gloams do not only do lightning damage with the current bug, so it is wise to get some physical damage protection.

hum hum might be a good idea. even if its very little.

so far they have all healed me :thumbsup: so more ways to lower their damage is always better
 
Wouldn't Souldrainer be more useful since life leech with vengeance is rather minimal since it's mostly elemental dmg? And you get some mana leech which may let you change your amy for something else.
 
hmmmm... i think i used Gloomstrap on my avenger, but for hunting gloams TGods Vigor is probably your best bet. Nos's Coil is pretty good too since its got IAS. for weapon i used Nord's Tenderizer, and I would highly reccomend that you give it a shot. it is fast, can have >300% ED, massive cold damage, and hit freezes target. that last one is very nice since frozen monsters can't fight back. :D
 
It's no wisp projector, but a Nature's Peace might be good for your character idea just because it would keep the gloams from being rezed by the guardians in the WSK. Just a thought. :) (Gogo Andariel's Visage! ;))
 
SC draculas comes with CTC life tap that means you can life leech from monsters you cant leech from at all like skeletons and such.

otherwise it was a good idea.

whomhead its to slow on this build only -30 weapons can achive the last breakpoint with my set up. that means only azurwrath is good enough.

wildjinn i use a natures peace when i play alone or when no body needs to corpses like a necro and such.

and your right go go andariels visage:thumbsup: gives me the ability to get 95% poison res among other nice things.

I agree with 6stringspanky, for best Vengeance results you need a weapon with a high min & max damage. I know the LS has some absorb, but the average damage is very low for an elite one-hander.
 
Wouldn't stormlash be a good option since it has chance to cast static field and is pretty fast, only problem is the avg dmg may not be high enough.
 
know that any1 the problem is that only -30 weapons reatch the fasters vengenze attack 8 fps with the ias i have on my gear.

checked to slow i need 110 ias for that one to swing at 8 fps

i have 55 so that wont work.

6ss wont work see other example way to much ias is needed to get to 8 fps :hanky: otherwise it would have been perfect
 
You should still experiment since with 1 frame less may not necessarily kill slower since you have static field and higher avg dmg.

uhh well the day i get one i might experiment with it as it reatch 9 fps at least

still the low durability would be a pain.

will see how i do atleast i have got some good input as always :thumbsup:
