Necro hack?

I dont need to know what it is but is there something a necro can do where they are not on your mini map yet can kill you?
The necro in question did keep amping but then he was in a party with a Zon(and Druid).The damage he did was sizeable.It cant be desync because the necro has not been on my screen for a good while but its like im being attacked by something invisible.

I think if they name-lock you they can hit you with bone spears and stuff from far enough away that they wont appear on your minimap

I dont think its a hack, though, I think its just a very long-ranged attack....

Yeah but you have to move away from them for them to retain name lock off the map and I was just leaving town in fact I was taking damage the moment I left town.Ive never heard of name locking used to cheat which is what this was,if soon as I leave town I take damage from an invisible source its hardly fair.Anyway I believe Bonespears are pretty short range and certainly dont go beyond one screen.

It's called Invisible Bone Spirit. When you are not on the Necro's map and he aims well (so when he knows where you are without you being on his map), these Spirits can hit you without you seeing them come.

I just tested Bone spirit,even with someone on the minimap they dont home in but just fly by(and they were visible) if they are too far away and besides how can the necro line himself up so accurately without being able to see.Too many things are stacked against it being possible.If the necro was teleing about before hand id understand but there was no sign of him a good while before I went out.

It is ibs.

There is a reason why necro is the king of pub stomp. They can kill you without even being on the minimap.

These invisible bone spirits are able to home in and remain invisible.

I concede.I just tested again and it worked off minimap not sure why in my previous test it didn't I guess you have to be aiming at the right spot but I think that maybe they lose the homing ability at the outer range.It was first time I saw a necro exploit seen amazons do it plenty with GA.

In some cases, you can do it with blizzard.

So basically, any range shot off minimap tends to go invisible.
