MF Drops in Pit/Eldritch/Shenk

With about 350% MF if I clean pits, kill shenk and eldritch about how many uniques should I find? Like per run. So if I do all 3, I would average ___ # of uniques. Don't need a %. Need something like: .5 uniques per run.

Chance for unique is around 1:15 for superuniques and 1:30 for pit bosses, regular monsters and minions don't drop much...
8 bosspacks in Pit and 2 superuniques ~ 0.33 unique items per run (e.g. 1 unique item per 3 runs)

Q: Why Schenk and Eldritch? They can't drop TC87 items...

Don't forget that you can do the Kurast Act3 areas (Disued Fane, etc) that are TC87 areas pretty quickly, although some of the monsters are real nasty.

I've been harvesting The Pit and Ancient Tunnels with my 613% MF Sorc for the past couple days and truly haven't found anything worth mentioning... It's kinda sad. For me, an 8p Baal Run still feels like the best usage of my magic finding stats.

That's about 3 hours total a day running at two different times, so like 90 minutes here and then 90 minutes again later with a total of about 20 Pit runs, 15 Tunnel runs and a complete circuit of Travincal's council and the Disused Fane things.... Coolest thing I found was a Hel rune.

Thresh socket is a pretty good idea as well when running super uniques. He's dropped me Tals armor, Nats Claw, Bul Katho Sword, Griffons Tiara, and some other things.. (he's located a short distance away from the arreat platuea wp, always by the entrance to the Crystalline Passage)

Out of curiosity, how do you guys reach 400% or so magic find without taking a serious hit in how efficent your character is?

I have about 250% and , if I go any higher, the chance of death rises significantly, and my killing speed drops by quite a bit ....

If your killing speed drops, then just stick with 250% MF. The upper echelons of MF are reserved for those with better survival/killing gear.

Well, let's see... the Shako alone is 50% MF, add an Ist, and it's 75%. Ali Baba's blade is around 150% right now and a 4os monarch with 4 Ist is 100%... So there's 300% and doesn't even count boots, ammy, 2 rings, and your inventory.

It's absolute child's play to get 500+ MF.

For a sorc, it's easy, since some of the best items already have both skills and MF. At least if you don't need much FCR.
