Dude, that is a SICK leaf. +Enchant/+3 Fire Mastery...as for the build, depends on what you have available, but I'd defintely go with either Passion runeword for zeal or Kingslayer for Vengeance. I used Passion, as I have no Gul, but whatever you can afford.

that staff is teh suxx0r. you need + 27 enchant automod. noob.

skillls are easy enough

enchant
fire mastery
warmth

then you could go with energy shield, other masteries, frozen orb, etc.

gear really depends around whether you go S/S or 2 handed.

IMO the best weapon is kingslayer for vengeance which is also affected by masteries

Figured I'd just use the staff. Shields are for fools.

now that is styling. in that case you'll need as much IAS as you can get

IAS Frames per attack
0 % 17
6 % 16
11 % 15
22 % 14
32 % 13
48 % 12
70 % 11
105 % 10
174 % 9

it won't be too hard to hit the 11 FPA.
20% IAS gloves
20% Highlords
Crown of ages with 2 15% IAS j00lz

First off, no frozen orb. Then you would have to give up all of your style points. One way to go would be ES, but you will need a merc to take out the FI monsters. Or, you could find a ton of lightning damage charms and max out lightning mastery.

One point wonder for a melee enchantress: frost nova, slow those critters down!

I agree with the IAS thing. Try to get to the 11 frame breakpoint. Sigon's gloves + another item (boots are nice) give 30% IAS +LL, my enchantress used them until late NM, when she switched to IK gloves+boots (25% IAS, more +str and +dex).

I think he wants to use the staff itself :)

Well, melee-wise, there's only 3 combo possible. ES/TS, a cold armour or lightning/cold mastery.

Then the equipment follows.
ES/TS: gbane/iron pelt to take advantage of the -pdr/mdr.
Cold armour: high defense, eg. stone(fhr, some resists), valor (+skills/life), gloom(dim vision), shaftstop etc
Masteries: ormus robes might be good if you have +3 to enchant/ES/armour/static etc. 4 jeweled(of thunder) amour of whale/life everlasting (4-400 lightning damage, +90 life/-20pdr)

Vipermagi is a good overall armour. +skills, fast cast(for teleport/static), resists, even some -mpd. Its defense is low though so you might consider something with more def if you went cold armour.

Hmmm...I like the idea of using cold armour and frost nova :D That would be awesome. However, i'm a big fan of electricity, so perhaps a lightning skill would be better for me. But then again, the electric skills are kind of low damage...which sucks :(

Thanks for the ideas guys!

Sure, you won't really *kill* anything with it, but Thunderstorm would be pure style! Plus, it is added damage constantly while you're fighting, even if it isn't much.

Im basing the same build around this
Wirt's Leg
One-Hand Damage: 2 to 8
Durability: 46 of 66
Mace Class - Fast Attack Speed
Item Version: Expansion
Item Level: 39
Fingerprint: 0x894a8f37
150% Damage to Undead
Socketed (3: 0 used)
For skill placement, max both the synergies, and then you want a good killing skill with few or no synergies needed. I recommend FO. max that, get CM to lvl 17 at least. this should be completable by the time your in the mid 80's, so seems good.

Track down one of the ctc Blizzard facets to synergize FN and make a Frost Nova Enchantress!

Boo! Hiss! No style! :D

Ormus' Robes
Dusk Shroud
Defense: 453
Durability: 15 of 20
Required Strength: 77
Required Level: 75
Unidentified
Item Version: 1.10 Expansion
Item Level: 87
Fingerprint: 0xc2e0ec5d
Regenerate Mana 14%
+14 Defense
20% Faster Cast Rate
+3 to Thunder Storm (Sorceress Only)
+11% to Fire Skill Damage
+10% to Lightning Skill Damage
+14% to Cold Skill Damage

hehe - I could use this for ThunderStorm :D

How ace would this build be?!

You dont think a no-shield melee sorc has enough style in the first place? :p
FO is the best option for backup killing with the amount of skill points you IMO. If he wants style, he'll do it with a diggler.
*gets idea for another uber-stylish underpowered build.*

Well, you are talking to the girl who wont let her no-shield melee sorc use Static Field... ;)

TS with maxed LM and some lightning damage charms might work nicely.
