Magtheridon - A new beginning

Well, since I've started anew, with my Druid, I thought to myself , "What build should I go for"

I never got an answer for this...

I am playing Vanilla, HC, 1.11b, Untwinked, and its my first character since i started again.
I am thinking about going RRM/RWM

Well, we will see what happens.

The question i wanted to ask is, what build should I go for? :undecided:

If you're untwinked I think wind Druids are probably the easiest to play. Although I've heard that fire claws bears are pretty easy too, since their damage is also skill-based, not weapon-based. I have a fire claws bear now but I'm parked at the beginning of Act V NM because I'm afraid to start Hell for all the fire immunes. Don't know how that'll work out.

Basically, for untwinked play or if you just restarted, you don't want to go for a weapon-dependent build like a Fury wolf. Most other Druid builds should be okay.

The ultimate untwinked/restart/HC character is, of course, the fishymancer, but maybe you don't want to use one of those. Some people find them boring.

Thanks for the advice.
Yeah, i decided against a fishymancer, played too many of them, theres no way i'm playing another lol.

Thats my main concern about a Fire claws bear. Immunes. Theres no way ill be able to get around that.

Windy, or maybe fire/summon
Or pure summon.
Ill decide soon :)

Why not try a fire/summon hybrid?

I'm playing vanilla, untwinked 1.11b and that's the build I'm using for my first SP character. Right now his is in Kurast at level 59 in Nightmare. Granted, he's SC, but he has not died yet... as a matter of fact, he had 1 close call with a group of blunderbores that surrounded him (on Players 8), but his max block and life held up until he could thin them out with volcano and escape.

The early levels were rough... lots of arrows and running/using what fire spells I had, but when fissure hit 12, it got a lot safer. As for fire immunes, volcano does physical AND fire damage and an Act 2 holy freeze merc handles the cold damage pretty well. If you go this route in HC, I recommend adding max block to the build. It's blocked A LOT of hits in late normal/nightmare.

Thanks for the tip. But im going with full summoner, for a change.

I was considering fire/summon very very hard. In the end, i went full summoner.

Thanks for the tips guys :)

Another suggestion is the Fishy-Sassin, maxed TS, DS, LS and SM. Although I play her SC, she has died only once so far (dont watch the Simpsons and play D2 at the same time.....lol). I am at ACT 5 NM atm. Take it easy.
